Thank you so much, Ken! I am a Salem resident and a busy tour guide now that we are in the busiest month. I have also worked at the Corwin House in the past. Many tourists think of it as a "spooky" house instead of a historical one. We have lots more interesting houses here in Salem (and Danvers, the former Salem Village), and I hope you can spotlight some other houses in the area.

Thank you for sharing the historical aspects of the Salem witch trails. What a sad misunderstood time in history that should have never happened the way it did. Individuals not knowing anything but very harsh judgement of others. This has been an ongoing situation throughout American history.

Been a few times to The House of the Seven Gables - which I believe is a 20 min walk from this house. Salem is a great destination and an important cautionary tale - what with the most literal of the bannings and cancellations still on today.

Oh my...get this...I was sitting next to an acquaintance in church and at the conclusion we had some superficial talk and "somehow" we got on this topic and quickly discovered one of his direct relatives was killed as a witch in Salem and one of my direct relatives had been a judge!! Creepy coincidence?? or...He didn't seem anywhere as astonished as I was.. for som reason. 😨😨😨😨😨

I am an Ohioan and two of my siblings went to the University that is in Springfield Ohio. It breaks my heart to see a group of people who helped improve the town be villified like they have been. There are still modern day lessons to be learned from the Salem witch trials. Thank you Ken!

Mary Perkins Bradbury, was convicted, condemned to be executed but manged to escape. It is not known how she escaped the noose. Maybe it helped that she was the mother of 11.

A timely subject in more ways than one. This looks like a great museum. I read about the Salem Witch Trials when I was about 12 years old. I believe one theory is that the girls were suffering from ergot poisoning; a fungus that had hallucinogenic properties had infected the grain, and they had eaten bread made from it. Superstitions where also common at the time; now it's conspiracy theories. The black facade of the house is certainly a stand-out.

Wow…thank you Ken for this timely reminder of the dangers of disregarding fact in favor of suspicion and rumors. Our country’s political climate has been rife with all manner of falsehoods and “hysteria”. I shake my head in wonder and despair over the spread of rampant lies by politicians for their own selfish gains. Our communities have been seeded with suspicion and hostility toward one another in the name of nationalism. I am ashamed to fly the American flag anymore; its symbolism has been used to incite hatred. I fear for this election cycle, not only in case the radicalized groups gain control but also if they are defeated. We’ve already seen a little of what they’re capable of at the capital riot. And it’s all in the name of one group’s claims of religion. 😢 Great video Ken.

i strongly suggest that the reference to Modern politicans and such reports that you suggest to be conspiracy theory just may divide and cause some who enjoy much of your work to change from that to strong dislike as some may find that if your mislead there then how can anyone trust your judgement on any other subject matter> just saying it can happen.
