Where did the word "Scouser" come from? (FACT FREDAG)

I’m from Liverpool and I knew lobscouse came from the Scandinavian sailors. There’s also a German version called labskaus.

It's from the Baltic sailors originally and spread from there. Typical seafare. In Swedish Lapskojs, in English Lobscouse.

There's mixed views on its origin, neither you or I really know, but the Norwegian historical story is the most favoured one! Thanks for the comment!
