This series has brought me such comfort in a stressful personal time, and I appreciate you sharing both the high points and low points. Life offers us both, and we do what we can to acknowledge our feelings, grow, and move forward. That said, no matter how much I've learned over the years, the feeling of not fitting in can still creep back -- I have also had a moment with a certain Olivia Rodrigo song 😅

As an aside before watching any of the video, the title reminded me of the old quote: "I don't know what the future holds, but I know who holds the future." Mt. Fuji was being shy. "I'm very excited about food." You're a simple woman, Ellie. Don't change. 😀 Getting Hailey a friend is thoughtful so she doesn't get lonely when you take a trip like this in the future. This might end up being more funny than I mean it since I don't understand the lyrics to the song, but at about the 16 minute mark when you mentioned having mixed feelings about leaving Japan while on your way to the beach, the music in the background brought to mind the image of a montage from a generic romantic comedy when the couple is separated because of some disagreement just before their happy ending. "Guess what we get to do next." Find food? Go for a walk? Take a nap? 😂 The little seated Ellie happy dance on the monorail was cute. Don't feel bad for showing us you napping in creative places. You had to rebuild your energy to keep exploring all of the exciting surroundings. Getting takeout to reheat is also healthier than all of the ice cream you were eating at the start of the trip, even if ice cream tastes good. Thank you for taking us with you on your trip, Ellie! ❤ Even if we were living vicariously through you in your phone. Keep being awesome!
