Had he played better in the 4th qtr against the Lions it would've been 6 games. If he played better against GB or TB it would've been 9 games won. 11 games would've assured the Bears a playoff spot and Justin Fields would still be a Chicago Bear. The NFL is a game of inches.

How many feet, not inches, does that add up to? The Bears were, and still are in a rebuild. Everyone in the front office knew the situation any quarterback would have been in at that time. Not only that he was a rookie in that situation. They didn't pile on the kid like some "fans" did because they knew how unfair it was. Sure, Fields could have been better, but to not see the entire picture of where the Bears were at the time feels disingenuous at best. Plain stupid and hateful would probably be more like it.

Every year that teams supposedly have easy schedules, those teams end up playing end up being good. Over the last few years, if you take the teams that supposedly had the "easiest" top 5 scheduled end up at the end of the season having had the middle of the pack in terms of strength of schedule. You realize that right? Why do you think that is? Its because there is a lot of parity in the NFL and a lot of teams make significant jumps from year to year. Speaking of Bears, they also pay in the toughest division in the NFL. Lions and packers both made it deep in the playoffs. Vikings were a playoff team if Kirk Cousins didn't get injured. So again, teams don't make the schedules and it shouldn't matter because every team is capable of beating any team on a Sunday. Again, look back and see, easiest schedule nonsense don't end up making sense.

As a Bears fan, I don't know a single Bears fan expecting the Bears to win a Super bowl, let alone the division. I'm hoping, not expecting, that they can improve on last season's record and challenge for a wild card spot.

Winning the division would be a stretch but I would expect us to challenge every division opponent this season. Would be great to be 3-3 in the division. My expectations for Williams with the supporting cast around him is in the mix for rookie of the year and 4K passing yards. With that said we need better production from the running backs this season to help take pressure off of him as he gets settled in the offense and needs better play calling than we had last year. I would like a veteran backup on the roster to help him learn how to be a pro as well.

If the Bears won 7 games with what they had last year then why would we expect them to do the same or worse? What? Williams isn't who we think is? This improved offense of the Bears will have more talent over the defenses they play than USC had over the defenses they played. That means that Williams should have adequate time to throw the ball and his receivers should be more open than his receivers were at USC. Williams is sharp and intelligent emotionally driven to be the best and was the best in college! It's evident that he can process and go through his progressions handling the quarterback position. His ability to deliver the ball is one of the best I've ever seen with a quick wind up and wrist snapping throw with a high level of accuracy. Not to mention his excellent ability to extend plays with his legs to pass! So yeah, with our defense coming off the season as one of the best and our offense making significant improvements with Williams we expect the Bears to get at least 10 wins, pass for over 4,000+ yards and pass for over 30+ touchdowns. As a Bear fan that's what we expect. If you're not a Bears fan then why are you following? Follow your team!

The problem with the bears fans saying "We almost beat them last year". One, our secondary wasn't that great and we revamped greatly during the draft to address the secondary with 2 legit corners so that won't be the case this time around Second, you had fields. Caleb is unknown in the NFL and has not yet taken a snap. He couldn't lead his college team to the playoffs and you expect him to lead an NFL team to one? The bears won't get pass Packers. Definitely not Lions. If there is anyone I'm concerned about it's the Vikings with JJ. They're being overlooked and I'm no vikings fan

Objectively, Chicago is 3rd in the division, at least in theory. The NFC North has a lot of talent as a whole offensively, but the best defense belongs 2 Da Bears. My concern is our coaching staff compared 2 every1 else's although we do have a nice roster. If we end up where the Texans ended up last yr, I'd be happy & so would many Bears fans.

I love this show but they sometimes just aren’t genuine with their takes. The Bears are coming off a disappointing season, they were suppose to be better last year. This year they get a “generational” quarterback in the draft alongside a highly talented receiver adding to an already impressive roster. Add to the fact their schedule is weak and the NFC is weaker compared to the AFC. CJ Stroud set the bar, if Caleb is that guy he’ll come out the gates hot because this roster is insane

The first game they almost beat them had it not been for the incompetence of Getsy and Flus. As a real Bears fan since 1970 let me say this, all we want is for the Bears to be good, we do not care if they go to the Super Bowl this year, we just want Caleb to play well and get better every game. And if they can win 10 or 11 games and make the playoffs, that is a bonus. No Bears fan I know expect them to win the division over the Lions or the Packers, we just hope they play well, and Caleb does good. Then in a year or two if he is really good, maybe then they can try to win the division, and maybe even win a playoff game or two. Anyone who says the Bears fans expect them to beat the Lions and the Packers this year does not have a clue what they are talking about. All we want is for the Bears to be a good team, and for Caleb Williams to show us he is good, and he will get better.

You also have to take strength of schedule into consideration. Bears have the 3rd weakest schedule in the NFL. I’m betting they finish 2nd behind Detroit.
