Hey Hakker is my uncle I grew up going to there concerts never knew how famous they are till I saw the views on yt 😂🤌🏼 were from Hanford CA and there music isn’t really the CA type so many don’t really listen but is in the farmland of the Central Valley moved to Georgia and it was crazy when I heard my uncle on someone’s car radio 😂 God bless y’all!!

So they were actually a different band prior to ‘Poor Man’s Poison’ they were ‘Done For Good’. They made their first album shortly after the members got out of school. The album was very good in my opinion but, due to the drummers sudden tinnitus, they could no longer produce such a heavy sound. They then switched to making more bluegrass/country/rock style music. That’s when Poor Man’s Poison came about. That’s actually their second project, they’re working on a third project band ‘Dr. Villian’. Similar style, but a little heavier than what they’ve put out in recent time. I will agree Providence is definitely their best album, and one of my favorite americana sounds in recent times. Unfortunately they no longer produce albums. They had a hiatus for a short stint, but came back when they seen their singles were topping theirs albums in listeners. So they’re now focused on producing short singles. This is unfortunately the way of time, albums are no longer as prevalent or listened to as modern people prefer one or two songs. : /

Shimmer Aoi makes real good Spanish transalation and lyric videos in English and Spanish as well as custom art for them it’s really good highly recommend shimmer aoi if you like,poormanspoison since they do poormanspoison songs

Try out Jacob Porter Smith, he has a very similar acoustic style to PMP and he is very underrated. He currently only has 2 albums and a couple of singles. I highly suggest the single "Who You Fooling?" and the album "The Aftermath of Chasing Chaos"
