Here’s my top 10 songs/freestyles, in order with verse highlights, that contain what I personally consider the “best” Eminem verses- 1. Till I Collapse (Besides being my favorite Em verse of all time, I think it’s one of the hardest verses ever; not just from Eminem- but in all of rap in general 🤷🏼‍♀️. My guy, how did you not have this in your comparison tracks? 😂. When he raps “I don’t think the fact that I’m Slim matters-A plaque and platinum status is wack if I’m not the baddest”, he completely sums up who he is and what he’s about in one effing sentence. Every verse in this song is pretty brilliant.) 2. Medicine Man (you had this so I’m not writing it out here. But I do want to note that the WAY he gets it across, the fury in his delivery, is truly masterful here and even elevates the verse to a stratospheric height) 3. Chloraseptic Remix (you had this one too) 4. Forever (“you dealing with a few true villians who stand inside of the booth truth spillin, and spit true feelins’, till our tooth fillings come flying up out of our mouths, now rewind it”. Also “I’m Hannibal Lecter, so just in case you’re thinking of saving face, you ain’t gonna have no face to save by the time I’m through with this place, so Drake”. I mean, come on. 😂) 5. No Apologies (It’s literally a middle finger in verse form 🤣 too much to write so go look it up 😂 the entire first verse especially is straight 🔥🔥🔥🔥This was originally a freestyle that he liked so much, he made it into a song. Shady Cypher 2.0 (“Superman in this b***, but Kryptonite won’t do- it gives me more power, I bump the fat boys and, eat rat poison, take meteor showers” I mean, come on 😂) 10. Best Friend (No disrespect to Yella, but I can’t stand this song as far as the musicality and his singing, and I really hate the backing track, but Eminem’s verse on it is truly powerful. People freak out over the alliteration part of the verse, which don't get me wrong is a cool little circus trick that not many rappers do these days, but it's the bars following it that sealed it in the top 10 for me. Everything from "Nobody's 16's are touching" to the end of the verse is just fucking bonkers -- the way the beat warps and bends as everything climaxes and then just drops back down into the super laid back hook.. it's perfect sonically, lyrically, I don't really know what more you could ask for from the verse. Now, does that make it rank in his top 10? Given like you said he has so many verses that also fit the criteria for a GOAT verse, I think that part is completely subjective. But I certainly wouldn't disagree/argue with somebody who does have it in their top 10 Em verses.

Man, I just can’t imagine anything beating out “Best Friend.” I’ve said this elsewhere, but IMO, it’s the epitome of what rap can be as an art form. It delivers on every level - unexpected flows, flow switches, bar after bar after bar (with almost every one containing at least a double entendre, if not triple or quadruple), emotional delivery, etc. The lyricism and wordplay is otherworldly. It has a handful of schemes/themes that effortlessly flow into and out of each other, and the number of religious references in general (but especially to Revelation) is mind blowing. The content of that verse is incredibly dense. “Best Friend” is 100% artistic genius. I will never get over the fact that Em is a high school drop out, who has suffered actual traumatic brain injury. 🤯 He’s truly one of the most special minds this world will ever see. Definitely agree with “Medicine Man” as a close #2. And honestly, after that, it’s sooooo hard for me to narrow down and rank a remaining Top 10. It would depend on my mood on any given day. 😂 But I’m down for the journey of trying! On “Fuel,” JID absolutely showed out. The man should be incredibly proud that he held his ground on a track where Em absolutely spazzed. “Fuel” is in legit contention for a spot in the Top 10, but it’s not f-ing with “Best Friend” or “Medicine Man.” LOL.

Personally, I think this is the best em verse by far, it just has the whole package. Has a new-level taste of complexity and balance in terms of bar creativity, ABC (alphabet soup) schemes, delivery, adlibs, flow switches, and sound effects. The more you listen to it the more you get everything connected like "damn".
