Concerning Jesus never saying He is God or to worship Him, Jesus didn't have to boast about who He was. Your deeds should prove who you are, not your mouth. So, your question is ridiculous, because even prophets don't say they are prophets, unless they are directly addressed or questioned, because it's self-evident who they are, by the power of God working miracles with them or the prophecies they proclaim coming from God are all true. (Here, GOD is talking about false Gods) Revelation 1:1-20 17. When I (John) saw HIM (JESUS), I fell at HIS feet like a dead man. And HE placed HIS right hand on me, saying, "Do not be afraid; I AM The FIRST and The LAST, 18. and The LIVING ONE; and I was Dead, and Behold, I AM Alive Forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades." Revelation 22:1-21 JESUS said, 12. "Behold, I AM coming quickly, and MY Reward is with ME, to render to every man according to what he has done. 13. "I AM the ALPHA and OMEGA, The FIRST and The LAST, The BEGINNING and The END." Isaiah 44 and 48 I listed above, is JESUS who said HE is The FIRST and The LAST, because in Revelation Chapter 1 and 22, JESUS says that HE is The FIRST and The LAST. Therefore, JESUS is GOD.

“But He called himself son of man.” One verse taken out of context doesn’t prove a point. There are countless verses to show that Jesus is in fact God, and those are not taken out of context. Jesus also said before Abraham “I am” the pharisees said He is claiming to be God and they took up stones to kill Him. Why would they attempt to kill Him if He wasn’t claiming to be God. Those who deny Jesus want to say “ the Bible doesn’t say He is God.” But it clearly does. We call that willful ignorance.
