Late comment and I know this isn’t on topic to this video, But one thing that bugs me is this, Why was the Thin Man in the TV during LN1? I’ve be thinking hard and I’ve been wondering if he’s been to the Maw many times or was he just associated with the Maw?, another thing was why was the Teacher and the Bullied there to? Could the Bullies been on the maw until they gotten older to be in a high school? And was the teacher Originally on the Maw to teach Children, Before the lady took their Youth away and turn them into gnomes? Either way, Great video Jord 👍

i think shadow six is six"s soul or part of it that embodies her kindness. the signal tower took it away and she fills up on food until she gets the lady"s powers. shadow six is not evil just stuck outside her whole being. Six wasnt evil until she wore the raincoat and was kidnapped, the raincoat is cursed and suppressed her kindness, the tower took it away, and eating the lady made six full on evil.

In the Residence DLC, there’s the picture puzzle room. There’s a picture of a man in the back left wall with a face deformity. The Hunter from LN2 perhaps? We see pictures in the same room, one contains the Teacher, one contains the Barber and another (I think) the Doctor. I guess this means many of the antagonists of LN2 were acquaintances of the Lady. Possibly the Hunter is one of them? How would he know the Lady if this is him?

We can also see a portrait in the hunter’s house, the squidward nose guy i call him, and i theorise thats what he looks (or looked, after he presuambky shot himself) like And its theorised that the hunter would sometimes sell children to the maw, hence why he didnt kill six and was so persistant on catching her when she n mono escaped. Would also make sense as to how he knows of the lady as that would be who he’d sell the chikdren to

That's a good hypothesis, Sir Pootis. I genuinely respect that. However, you can also see that he was wearing a bowtie (I presume, if I recall the image correctly). So I also hypothesized that he was, once, a student OR sort of, a classic old fashioned way of clothing as how he showed virtue to his family even after his face becomes twisted.(Genuinely speaking, I felt sorry for him that the way he could be able to remember the presence from his family, was creating one). And I don't think he was, once, an aquaintance because there has a huge possibility that he will become one of the guests and I do think, it's becuz of so much agony and misfortune. These would totally explains why people who are depressed has an aggressive metabolism without having control and completely obsessed to it, by the way. Which leads a person losing his sense of consiousness. And one more thing, The hunter lives alone and he wasn't as twisted/corrupted as the other characters looked and also their gestures. He had a normal reaction as what a genuine hunter would do and he has a gun (hehe), so I'm pretty sure he was normal unlike to the other people became oblivious or have no sense of significance in life.

@@Hello-pk8bo Mr. Hello, I totally agree with you. The sack that covers his face was the exact the same spot where he could be able to see. The same thing as the portration of the person(himself). My hypotheses are vague but I totally enjoyed exploring and go deeper in this mystery. And actually your theory about selling children to the maw is good and this can be supported in the LitteNightmaresComics. Unfortunately, those evidences are now irrelevant. But perhaps he did sell them or perhaps, the hunter wanted something that we didn't know the reasons why. As the day we first met six in the LNII, she was doing cross marks and yes, she survived becuz the hunter fed her. I won't go down to the details becuz its too sophisticating 😁. But yeah that hypothesis is good, there is a possibility. One way to survive from this catastrophy, the character (hunter) truly explains what will happen to a person who will experience chaos. He doesn't know what is morally good as long as he will survive, and that's what we are humans. This is why I love LN it has its own metaphor realizations and such. So much to notice to its significance in life.

Hi ! I have a theory I want to share. First, I have some question to ask : 1 - Where does the monsters come from ? 2 - What is the goal of the Pale City and the Signal ? 3 - Why Six decide to go with Mono to the Signal Tower, while she knows how dangerous it might be ? For the first question, I think we can assume monsters are grown-up children. I mean, this is basically the whole deal with children: they grow up to become adults. But, we know what adult in the LN are, implying that all the children are doomed to become monsters. (Which is terrifying. They struggle so hard to survive, trying days after days to hide, run and feed, just to become another one of this world twisted nightmares.) From that, we can answer to the second question I think that the Pale City and the Signal Tower are basically a monsters’ nursery. We saw that the Thin Man capture children (we saw it many times), and considering what happened to Six, it seems the Tower goal is to turn children in monsters quicker. But maybe not just that. I guess the Tower has the ability to control the children’ metamorphosis, to make them exactly what the Signal/ The Eye/ Anything needs. I mean, look at Monster Six : she is not quite like the other monsters we saw. She don’t have a clear goal or occupation, like the Teacher, the Doctor, the Janitor or the others does. She don’t seems to have a developed intelligence. Considering how fast Mono came to save her, it may explain : her transformation isn’t complete. Without the Signal influence, children just became twisted brainless monsters. But, inside the Tower, they grow to became useful for the world. We could guess that some of the monsters are send to another places (like the Maw or the Nest), while others stay in the Pale City. We could even guess that all of the monsters stay a bit in the City, so they can be judged (being always watch by the TV), and send to the adequate if they’re convenient. Or turn int Viewers if they’re not. And all of that lead to the central point of my theory : why does Six accompanies Mono on his quest ? Why does the game description say she’s “fading” ? Because she was about to be turn into a monster. Think about it : the first room where we encounter Six and Monster Six’ room are very similar. Even Six’ position is : center of the room, with her music box. If Mono didn't came, maybe she would have transform into the Hunter basement ? And why does the Hunter not kill her immediately? Because he saw that she’s “turning”. Maybe he took her to the basement, waiting for the Thin Man to come to take her. But it’s not the Thin Man who came : it was Mono. Mono, who needed someone to go to the Signal Tower. The place where children are turn into monsters. The place where there might be a cure. Six had no choice. She came to find a cure. To stop fading away to let her place to Monster Six. And at the end, she got healed. It just took Mono’s life. Well, that’s all I have to say fot today. I have other theories, but this post is already long enough. Thank you if you read ! And I apologies for the spelling / grammar mistakes, I tried my best in English, but I’m just a little french guy ^^. Also, it was a very nice video ! I've discussed this before, it was heavily indicated by Dave in an interview that The Lady was not Six's mother, but The Lady was originally made to be a governess, which is a woman employed to teach children in a private household. :D

I have a question, what happens to the children when they grow up? Do they grow up? Because we know the monsters become monsters cus they were corrupted by the signal tower, or atleast some other sort of power (atleast I think? Correct me if im wrong), which is proved by how Mono and Six were turned into monsters because of the signal tower. So it wouldnt make sense if the children would just grow up into monsters, also because if that was true, why would the monsters try to kill them if theyre basically one of them? And nothing in the world is appropriately sized for the children. We dont see any small adults roaming around, and we never see the children actually grow up. And considering the fact that, if the furniture, the rooms, and in theory the veronica song proves that normal humans were actually the size of the monsters, then the children cant be normal humans because, well, theyre smol. Tho the Pretender stumps me cus i theorise she’s supposed to be next in line to run the maw, or atleast become another superior (authority) like the lady or the teacher, but she’s very similar to the children. If she is one of the children, the same type of “creature” (as I said they cant be normal humans), wouldnt that mean that they all grow up into monsters? Cus the lady n teacher n whayever technically count as monsters, which then wouldnt make sense for reasons previously mentioned. Unless the pretender just looks very similar, but yet if thats the case, why is everything in the Nest oversized for her as well? And everywhere else we see? Even the playrooms in the Maw, presumably made for children, are oversized? If they were made for the Children like six n mono, or monster children if they rlly r like the pretender, wouldnt the toys be smaller? My brain is on fire

New LN video! I love it! And yes, Mono’s powers are very weird when you take some time to think about it. Edit: My theory was always that the Tower was using Mono for his powers, with said powers fueling the signal. Another edit: I feel that the Tower is the real villain behind whatever the hell happened to this world, being some form of power hungry elder god. Using Mono’s power and absorbing the viewers to endlessly continue growing and becoming stronger.

I think he is trying to find himself but can't. We see collectibles(hats) that can allow you to costumize your character and maybe it's not even the Thin man. Maybe it's his shadow being sent my the tower to do so.

I've personally thought that the children with powers could be a generational thing, almost like how every lifespan a new gifted child is destined to usurp one of the rulers of the world. Much like how mono defeated and replaced the thin man in a similar manner to how six ate the lady and took her powers. Except Six had more of a agency to kill the guests and leave the maw, whereas mono was trapped and eventually became thin man over time. If a third game was made, I'd like to see a character who gets a different fate from both of them.

The question that bugs me to this day is: Why did Mono end up in the forest at the beginning of the game? Knowing his fate, and if he is stuck in a loop, why does the loop start there? We saw no indication of the start of the loop after the games ending. Also, if LN2 was a prequel, how would mono be stuck in a loop with Six, if she goes to the maw afterwards? She wouldn't be with new Mono to repeat the loop. So, this definitely can't be a loop, right? Mono had to have taken the place of the first thin man and changed into what he most feared... The thin man. What if the original thin man was Mono's father? It could explain why Mono has powers and do away with the inconsistencies of the loop.

Unless all children we see got split up from their parents but even then theres not any trace of adults existing in the world. Unless children r like.. endangered? 😭

When the teacher was pushing her face through the vents, she never got hurt, and I'm pretty sure there would be some sharp objects in there. What would happen if the signal tower stopped working? would everything be okay? would people's faces be turned to normal? Would the hunter completely die? How does it work?

As an extension to the question about the purpose of the kids: different institutions and places uses and treats them differently, though they all have a running theme of abuse, usage, and taking advantage. -The Maw feeds dead children to the guests, and the youth of naughty children or escapees is stolen and when they become nomes they become slaves to the maw and keep it running. -The Thin-Man captures kids and hypnotises people possibly to either catch six out of revenge, protects everyone from her or even gets rid of everyone else leaving six the only one left. -The Nest, I’m not too sure if it has much connection to kids but there are cages and nomes around there so it’s possible kids are turned into nomes to work for the pretender or the kids are turned into dolls.

The question that always stumped ME personally is where the time loop supposedly begins? For a time loop to be a time loop, it has to…loop. But because we obviously can’t have Mono initiate that because he’s in the signal tower. And the time loop can’t happen period if the theory that Six is the Lady is correct, because again, there’s no loop. It has to wrap around back to the beginning in a circle, but most of the time loop theories involve Six and Mono growing up, which is more of a straight line. So how does it work? Where does the time loop start, if it starts at all? (This is honestly why I don’t believe in the time loop theory, because it feels a little flawed logic wise. However I understand that it might just be me personally not being able to figure it out.)

I know this comment is old but the creators have actually answered a question very similar to this one; they were asked who made the maw and if it possibly was by the lady and the creators responded with something along the lines of “it doesn’t work like that in this world. The guests must feed, and the maw must grow”. Something like that. Essentially the buildings exist because of the needs/wants of other people. They just poof into existence. :)

It's a sequel of the franchise, but not of the storyline. That's the storyline: Very little nightmares-Little nightmares 2-Little nightmares It's sad but also hilarious how they still think LN2 takes place after LN _🤦‍♂️🤣_ EYE mean, come on, Shadow Six was born when Thinman captured Six, Shadow Six already existing in the first game. And no, the fact that Shadow Six exists because of Thinman isn't a theory, it's very evident in the KIDnapping scene.

something I've always wondered and I might just be overthinking this but if mono is the thin man, and LN2 is a prequel to LN1, then how does six go to the maw? wouldnt she have to stuck around in order to 'meet' the new mono. that would mean that LN2 and LN1 are 2 separate time loops, happening at the same time, with the same characters because six leaves mono to turn into the thin man and goes to the maw so how does it become a time loop if six doesn't meet the other mono..

The thing I expect from future DLC or games, is locations and characters such as a Farmland, a farmer similar to the Hunter with a shotgun, running through tall crops with a windmill in the background, going into the barn with some animals or children captured perhaps. And then also a Circus with a tall clown because that's the most obvious fear of children so why not use it as well based on all the other horrors we've seen in the games. And for last a Factory. A Factory full of children working and creating. If its toys, furniture or clothes. Just a big factory with machines and children working for some big boss. It could even be a horrific Santa boss using children as workers instead of elves.

What is Shadow Six? Is she Six's soul? The hunger only started after the Thin Man took her. It would make sense for the hunger to be the result of her body trying to make up for the hollowness.
