I actually already knew about this train. If you join/create any SAMP server and spawn a train/tram on the side of the tracks where trains do not run on, you can drive the entire route. You even go through the mountains.

for those who dont understand, its not a bug. the train is mission scripted. mission scripted events/vehicles do not disappear while the mission is active. their position is always stored and they continue moving, even while not loaded. the second line for trains is not fully scripted out because the only other time the second line is used is during the mission "wrong side of the tracks". because of where the train spawns in "wrong side of the tracks", the train route begins in northstar rock. and because of where it spawns during "snail trail", the line terminates in cranberry station. trains are programmed to go in a loop, not stop, so when the train reaches the end of the route in cranberry, its forced to go back to its route starting point in northstar rock, so it will make that hard right and travel in a straight line back to the beginning of the route. only because of the trains invincibility, is it able to travel through the landscape and not be destroyed.

that is true and confirmed while editing the train routes with a tool, you can do this in GTA IV and V too (but only editing the route) also, there is a third track going from the bay to camberry station but is never used and has the very same "bug"

the track down in easter basin was originally intended for a scrapped mission concept similar to the mission "fast track" where you wouldve had to load or unload a train instead of the ship.

This actually happens with any train that takes the 2nd unused line. Even if you are driving it. Pick any mod that allows you to drive a train through the second line and get to SF.

It could be that map was smaller and train tracks were different in Alpha/Beta version, they just left this coding in final version without bothering to remove it. Same with beta interiors that still remain in Blue Hell, dialogues and beta pedestrians in gamefiles.

From there I pushed engine of the train to airport hangar. When I finally did it and the doors of hangar closed completly game crashed. It was rather dissapointing because I spent almost an hour and half just to push that damn train into hangar

it travels from the tracks last programmed coordinate to its first (used in wrong side of the tracks for example). its not affected by collision, because it is a scripted model
