15:11 ok you're so based for that tho lmao Even though I read trough this myth a couple of times, I'm excited to relive this alongside you. This whole story is on an entirely different level from what I've seen so far in this game. It's like I was reading a really good dark fantasy book. The OST is insane. Sylus's VA is insane. I hope he gets paid really well for this xD I'm glad they didn't hold back on showing how merciless Fiend Sylus is. It creates a beautiful contrast with how his character and the whole story develops, but without him becoming an uwu softie still. Him bringing MC a cat to lift her spirits up and how he talked to her when she was basically having an identity crisis made my heart melt (and the image of him yanking a random cat off of somewhere for his hooman makes me giggle) :') They really are beginning to build a bond here, both exiled, both a fiend in their own way. I want to yap so much more but I'm afraid to spoil things, so I'll wait (im)patiently until other videos are up. We're about to enter the craziest rollercoaster of emotions :'D

this i just wishful thinking but i wish this whole myth story would be animated and fully voiced by MC as well. it's already so good in visual novel format but i think some moments would hit so much harder if they were fully animated and voiced. it was truly a rollercoaster of emotions.

@@ugh5281 I don't think i'd be able to handle the fully animated/voiced myth, my heart was absolutely shattered just from reading the story, especially the last 2 chapters hahaha BUT you're right, it would hit harder if we'd have a full specter of both characters' emotions! I think the devs want to keep us, players, as immersed as it is possible. Or maybe it'd take too much time/resources to make it. I know we have animated bonds, but they're much shorter :') Still, it would be great to have a mini interactive movie like that.

@@lorelei-j at the end of the day the game is still technically a visual novel so i'm obviously not expecting them to animate 1h30 of scenes, it's more of me dreaming about it haha if the writing is already this good, an animated version would elevate a story like this to another level :)

Pinning this so I can also revisit the moment because I MEANT IT. I MEANT IT x 100000!! I was only 3 chapters in and it already felt like a full on movie??? I've been saying this so many times but if they do release one novel on each myth, I will buy the entire set. I love how in this myth, even though Sylus wasn't exactly treated well or fairly, he still was a proper "fiend" - even if it was due to how the world treated him. I love that they aren't shying away from such a dark route and that MC herself has some darkness in her too (understandably). I can't wait to post the rest I am having a blast reading everyones thoughts on the myth T.T

@@ugh5281 They managed to animate their sister game MLQC...maybe with the popularity of LADs...its possible? I mean MLQC had a convoluted storyline as well XD MAYBE ITS POSSIBLE?? I know they only add the MC voice during the bonds since those are fully animated, but I wished they also did it for the Myths, even if it WASN'T fully animated. With all the money spent into gettig these cards?? It's only fair T.T

I love that u can relate to how MC feelings change abt her home and abt herself, and how Sylus being supportive. This part is also my fav part. I read it multiple time. Its reminds me of the book Caliban and the Witch. the book talks abt how clergy and magistrates sentensed women as witch to death meanwhile women began to grow self-awareness. MC in this story is strong, tough, a big girl and i LOVE her! This myth is truly something.

Caliban and the Witch I need to look it up! Thank you for the suggestion because if the story is anything like this myth I will be SO invested. The way MC was written in the myth? Absolute top notch writing. Two very morally gray characters and they really delivered on it.

@@ScarletMother btw the book is good but also veeerryy boring hahaha. It mentioned people in power tried to tame women back in centries. If a woman had more awareness, they would say she's witch cuz she's marked by a demon and gained evil desires blahblah. in that case the witch would be sentensed to death.This closely resembles MC's experiences and feeling. A big publisher published and promoted this book last year and the book became quite popular in CN. I wonder whether INFOLD writers also into this book.

@@min_159 im sure they have something similar in a form of documentary and I think its also similar to the salem witch hunts. It's interesting tho since I know for CHN developers they are almost by law, required to add chinese culture into their games but the way they mix other cultural components into their games is also very interesting!

i enjoyed this myth so much, it was beautifully written. i won't say much because i'm not sure if you've already finished it or not and i don't want to spoil anything but i can't wait to discuss everything once you post the last part. so far, i'd say i definitely agree with your take on MC and sylus bulding a seamless bond. it's just like how the trailer described, they're "two lone kindred spirits"... in chapter 3 in specific you can see that they are starting to understand and relate to each other even though they're so different. they're like two outcasts who find companionship in each other and i love that.

That part where MC compared Sylus watching her to herself watching a cat when she was in the temple was like..wahh written so well. You can feel MC already relating to him despite being a "fiend" and the more she knows him the more his memories prove to her that maybe the real fiends are humans. UGH this myth is EVERYTHING.

"Guys, Sylus is scary. Why is it so sexy???" Honestly, I had the same thought. XD Kind of crazy how long this Myth is. The other ones I've gone through so far have only been like... maybe less than half the length of Beyond Cloudfall. It was a lot. I'm a sucker for a tragic dark love story though, and this hit all the right spots for me. I got through it and had to go replay some of Sylus's fluffy cards so I would feel better. Looking forward to the rest of your reactions to it! Also, I was just as shook as you were when she named him Sylus haha. The fact that he's still using it just... oh, my heart T.T

I had to make up my mind whether I was scared or um...:D ISNT IT THO??? It's really long!! I think the myths out so far at most maybe...an hour ?? This myth easily can take up 2 hours I feel. (I know I ramble a little too much T.T) The naming thing WAS NOT IN THE CARDS FOR ME! I had NO idea. I was actually thinking when he TELLS her his name it would be a sweet sign that they are getting closer but SHE NAMED HIM???? T.T

The way you can see how draego Sylus gradually becomes softer towards her and indirectly shows some affection as the chapters progresses. The way he was so cruel at the beginning...I just had to take a step back because it was really making me angry and kinda hurt too but honestly, this is by far the most relatable the MC have been for me. She is still kinda dumb but at least she is a little clever 😂. They are fated mates, literal soulmates! Seeing how destructive Sylus can be, i can see how the whole "taming" theme is a thing between these two lol This myth was very beautifully written. It's around 3 hours long!!

i think MC in this myth is my favorite characterization of MC so far tbh. i could really empathize with her at certain points in this story and i kind of liked how she was also a sort of morally grey character here... she was not a goody two shoes but she was not evil either.

​@@ugh5281 yes! She was not childish. She knew what she was doing and the fact that she was provoking the dragon, she knew the consequences too but she still took her chance. I did have a hunch that she would be morally grey too in Sylus's myth because otherwise it doesn't really make any sense and I was happy to see that she wasn't just a cute pretty woman who just barged into the dragon's life and "tamed" him. I could really feel MC's emotions in this card.

Ohhhh for some reason I never thought about the whole taming thing but now that you mention it, it makes sense! She is absolutely taming the dragon!!! OMG HOW DID I MISS THIS WTF??? I was too focused on the other stuff XD bwahahahahahah 3 hours long of goodness I can't wait to show the other chapters.
