I love the Lancia/Ferrari D50 so much.

Lancia smashed it with the D50, seconds quicker than the previous years F1 cars, but they were skint - they were instructed to gift them to Ferrari by the then government. Ferrari didn't improve them. Lancia, along with Alfa GP cars to me are the ultimate expression.

I do too. I had a model in the 70's a curbside type model it may have well been a slot car body. This led to a Stratos. Lancias are so cool I then in the 80's I had bought a Beta coupe 1978 it had the fuelie wiring but was still carbureted. A builder.Every option short of the automatic tilt headlights this feature was reserved for the HPE sedan. It thinks me off that I never got it going on the road. Real potential. I understand they rusted out very easily. The enginuity in the car though was something else and it sounded more than willing. I still lust for lancias

@Goodwood Road & Racing, I must say, that I am late to the stream at Sunday, and so I missed this race entirely, so again, thank you for posting it and the others. Love those cars, especially those Maserati 250Fs, of which there's two in the grid. Love seeing one being driven quickly by John Spiers.

The Alfetta is not for this grid. It would've run at the Goodwood Trophy grid for 1930s-early 1950s GP, Voiturette & Formula Libre race cars. One Alfetta is originally entered for the Goodwood Trophy this year, but it was later scratched.

Right, including 4.5 and 4.2 Indy ones. The Scarab engine was built by Offenhauser but is a completely different design.
