I was interested in Merakai palette until you mentioned that it's a "greatest hits"? Now I am wondering, if you had to pick between the three palettes to only choose one...which one would it be?

I love the colors on that noir palette. Living for it. I still use the red mega pro palette. It’s very subtle but I love it for lazy makeup days!!

Lorac is so underrated! I appreciate they haven't jumped on the hyper-commercialized bandwagon like some other brands as of late. I also always thought their Pro palettes were more appealing than the original UD Naked 1/2/3 series. Probably bc I'm a fan of matte shades more than shimmers. 😅 AFAIK the Meraki palette is a "greatest hits" to celebrate Lorac's 25th anniversary. Lorac chose the 25 most popular shades (I think they got feedback from MUAs) from their original PRO Palettes 1/2/3/4, PRO Matte, & Mega Pro palettes - it uses the same corresponding shade names as well. Supposedly these three Lorac palettes also have a new "upgraded" formula from their previous palettes. Do you have any thoughts on the difference in formulation?

Nothing beats "brush crush blush brush" as far as saying it three times fast lol. I sort of forgot Lorac exists, I haven't picked anything up from them in a very long time.

I have the Soleil palette and its amazing. Great quality. Mattes are very easy to blend and the shimmers are beautiful

I have Lorac Noir and I love it! I want to get Soleil as well. Buttery is the best way to describe the eyeshadows and they last.

GREAT to see some 'classic' Lorac with a new twist - nostalgic for sure, like comfort food! I rarely buy any more palettes these days (getting older) but I may have to cave for one of these. Sort of wish the Noir was even cooler toned, I have so many warm shadows. Great review Bailey!

I've watched you for years, and throughout multiple makeup declutters and a general loss of interest in buying makeup just to collect it, you're the ONE makeup channel I'm still subscribed to to watch regularly. I really appreciate your reviews including comments about how this is *not* an earthshattering innovation, but something to buy if you really love Lorac. As it happens, the one palette that's survived all my declutters is the Pro 2, and lately I've been thinking that mine is so used/old that I should replace it, but didn't know what to replace it with. I think the Meraki is exactly what I'm looking for with a variety of shimmer/matte and a range of neutral shades in different undertones. Thank you for always making concise, high quality review content!

Ohhhh I just got the original pro 3 and I couldn’t be happier to have it in my collection!! I reach for it ALL the time😻 it’s a oldie but a damn goodie! So buttery. I caught it at tjmaxx for $10!! I was even more excited to have it back in my life. Just lovely!

I'm super curious about these new Lorac palettes. I always liked their mattes but found their shimmer formula a little lacklustre, it didn't quite have that pop that I look for in a shimmer. But these look really nice. And they've put all the shades you'd want in ONE palette where before I'd have to use 3 different Lorac palettes to get the look I wanted. After I do my end of year declutter & inventory I will see where I am with my neutrals & if I want to pick up anymore neutral palettes. Much of my eyeshadow is going on 4-5 years old & might be time to toss.

I LOVE Lorac!! I have so many palettes that are SO pretty and go on so nicely!! I love the Noir palette you showed but not really a big fan of glitter. BUT Lorac has such nice products but I always wonder why you don't hear more but I guess they are more concerned with the great products the have and NOT releasing something every week like some lines. REALLY love it!

Even when I have newer eyeshadow collection, I've always eventually use Lorac the most. I still keep the old Lorac palette (the first one in long rectangular black that has basic colors) because they're really useful for everyday use & travel (I have NO time to think about adventurous eyeshadow color in my trip). Lorac's packaging may be minimal, but they're compact, the eyeshadows have good formula, and the colors are very wearable. Although I'd rather not have chunky metallic at all if they have a lot of fallouts....If I didn't already have the older palette, I would surely grab these newer ones!

Always loved these shadows, they are very powdery and generally quite muted tones but these are the only cons, still holding on to my good old unzipped and pro 1 and 2

Best palettes!! I got them. Ulta sent a sample of three shadows in a mini palette as a free gift. I had just purchased the ND biba palette. Then I found myself using the Lorac sample palette I got.... I couldn’t believe it lol. I returned the biba and bought the Lorac Meraki and reorganized it.. I’m obsessed! So glad you are talking about them!

Have you seen the Lorac PRO Palette Vintage Glamour? I can’t tell if this palette is a holiday release in their Vintage Glamour collection. The collection has boxed sets. I like the colors in the VG palette but I’m waiting for some reviews first.

So happy to find your review. I just picked up noir during the Ulta sale. I’ve been lusting over it for months and at half off said “hell yeah”. I haven’t used her yet, but the mattes are soooo smooth and all those different textures in the shimmers. Just an amazing layout IMO. I love that there is just one row of deeper mattes and not the usual pasty ones we always get. Truthfully that was what really made this palette stick out to me. Once I saw them with all those sparkly shades, it was the siren song for me. 🥰

You can easily depot them the palette lifts up or folds out and has holes like the Natasha Denona and can pop out

It might seem weird but I do use a white or cream color and I have a deeper skin tone. I just hate when they put in too many of them. I have a lifetime supply of white,cream and beige across all my palettes.
