I am SO HAPPY for you! I was nodding throughout your video. I totally understand what happened, because the same happens to me. You were overworked, overwhelmed, and burnt out. I'm an author, and I'm working on my 21st book. I used to be able to write two books a year. Now, it's one book in a little over a year. The past few years have been so hard on everyone, essentially creatives. Our minds have to be in a good place to create, and that's been extremely difficult, if not impossible. You did exactly the right thing by taking time to rediscover yourself and what makes you truly happy. You needed time to heal, and you took it. It takes strength to step away. I'm so glad you're back, recharged and happy. When you're ready to take online orders at your store, please let us know. I want to support you and the small businesses you discover. I'll absolutely keep watching.

I think this is the hidden truth behind having a successful KZbin Channel - it requires excessive time commitment and the intermittent ‘dark’ comments can harm our spirit. I am glad you took the needed break away from the frantic social media cycle that is easy to get trapped in! Congrats on changing the ‘model’ to suit your personal need for a sane approach to sharing your creative gifts. I hope your “dream comes true’ - you are awesome!

I have been praying that you were well. You were missed. I am so grateful for your tutorials, as they helped me create beautiful items to donate. Self and family should always come first. Do what ever makes your heart sing. Otherwise, what is life for. I always enjoy listening to people's stories and journals, I think many of us are snoopy that way.

Congratulations ❤ I appreciate you sharing your heart, your struggles, and vulnerability with us. I love your tutorials, but I also love learning new things and look forward to whatever it is you share in the future. I am a crocheter and I have been trying to learn to knit and find it so difficult- so I for one would LOVE to hear about your knitting journey and would love some knitting tutorials- no pressure! Congratulations on finding yourself again, and for having the courage to stay true to yourself. I know it is easier said than done, but do not worry about the negative comments/people. Your worth is NOT in them! You are amazing and wonderful and I look forward to any adventures you share! XO ❤

(other than maybe a Dr. appointment)....be well... take care of yourself! My days now consist of making quilts... knitting , crocheting and cooking suppers!

I'm so glad you're back. I missed you and all your beautiful designs. Like you said, this is your channel. You run it the way you see fit. If people like it, they will watch and if they don't, they can move on. I pray that you will find happiness in this again. Don't let the bad comments bring you down. There will always be negative people out there who only spew ugliness. I love your kindness, your creativity and your soft-spoken way. If you decide to leave again, pay us no mind. Your happiness and contentment are what matters. That being said I'm still glad you're back and I can't wait to see what you have in store. God bless.

I know you are a very busy woman I don't know if you'll see this or not, but I just have to say I always loved your videos to learn or to just hear your calm voice, as you spoke of your passion for crochet. I think many of your amazing fans would agree with me when I say I will be here no matter how long of a break you need. Self-healing is so important, and you need to be able to have other ventures in life unapologetically. Also, if you want to take a break from crochet to do other things, travel, shopping, talking about favorite books or any other crafts, whatever you want, you can also share those things with us too. If it's a desire of yours to do that too. Or just do them for yourself (and family) and not worry about KZbin and just enjoy your life. You are such a pleasant and kind person, and we are so grateful for what you share with us of your life and passion. Lastly, congratulations on your yarn shop, that's so exciting! I'm glad to see you back and I hope you take it at your own pace from now on worry free (as much as possible lol) and just live your very best life. Thank you for all your beautiful patterns and sharing with us all.

Annoo I have missed you! 💕💕😘 So happy you have been well & nothing terrible happened to you or family. No shame in taking an " electronic detox" and bringing joy back to your life💕. I am excited to enjoy New Annoo on YT! Personal growth is a good healthy thing. My last 18 months haven't been so good. Found your channel many years ago as I am not able to get out of the house much last few years but have many of the same interests that you expressed so feel your new content will be exciting and I'm looking forward to your new videos. I've suffered "burn out & stress" in the past with supporting a huge group my daughter was involved with and I get it. It does end up taking control of other aspects of your life & personally for me and had to take a break. Glad you are well & took the long deserved break you needed. Excited to look at your new yarn shop! I've always thought you have wonderful taste in yarn & have purchased some of the same yarns in the past you used so Congratulations 🎉 on your new store. Have fun because life is too short! 😘🎊🎉💕

You are so right! We all grow and change as the years go on. I find myself in the middle of a change right now. My oldest son turned 21 on the 22nd of May and then on the 23rd of May he closed on his very own home. He moved out that weekend. So now, I have an empty bedroom that is going to become my new craft room so I can bring my sewing crafts up from the cold basement. Bring the rest of my stashed yarn that is in totes downstairs, up here and into my new craft room and maybe, just maybe, it will stop me from purchasing multiples of yarn I already have. Probably not, let's just be honest here. 😂😂 While I am so excited to be able to finally have a proper craft room, I miss him horribly. It feels so odd to not see him every day after work. I am having a much harder time than I really thought I would have with this. I still have our youngest son at home. He is finishing up 8th grade this week and next week. Then he will start high school in the fall. He has plans to go to college (for now, that could change). If he does go to college, most likely it will be in state so he won't be far and will probably come home on the weekends if he isn't living at home. After all, we have 4 really good, major colleges within a 2 hour drive. I have expanded the crafts that I like to do, I found in addition to yarn and fabric, I like working on simple wood projects. Whether it is making a jewelery hanger from some scrap wood and hooks, or refinishing an old sewing cabinet that was gifted to me. I like them all. Oh, and playing around with my Cricut and vinyl or the ink. My youngest and I want to try our hand at some Tie-dye shirts this summer and then putting sayings on them. Just for us, if they work out, then maybe making some as gifts for Christmas. My point is, taking time to find your passion is never a bad thing. I used to make and sell handmade handbags, wallets (both men and women's) backpacks, duffle bags, overnight backs, crossbody bags, basically if it was a bag of any shape and size, I made it, even diaper bags and briefcases. I made them with cotton fabrics, lace fabric, silks, satins, cork, vegan leather and real leather, suede and lamb skin leather. I made a business out of it. I did it for about 5 years or so, but it got to be where I was taking only custom orders and I wasn't afforded the time to be able to make what I wanted to make. After all, my tag line was Class and Sassy, You Can Have it All! So all of my bags looked classy as hell on the outside, but there was always a fabric, even if it was nothing but a pocket lining, that would have a funny saying. One of my favorites, and I still have plenty of this fabric, it said, "Put Your Big Girl Panties On And Deal With It!" Which also happens to be a favorite saying of mine. Lol It was a fabric Joann's used to sell. Not sure if they still do, but I think I still have at least 5 yards of it left.

Hooooo Annoo !!!

Annoo! I thought you were burning out. Bless your heart. I’m glad I didn’t leave your channel because I was actually worried about you. I noticed you were back on instagram so was happy you were safe and well. 😊 I am someone who has always said no to selling my stuff or starting a youtube because I want to keep my hobbies personal to me and enjoy them in my own headspace. Plus in the world of social media you will never please everyone and people will always want more and more from a content creator. Most people just ask without thinking about the impact it can have on said person. We have a few of the same interests, crochet (I lost my crochet interest for a fair bit too) and have really been enjoying knitting again the past year or so. I absolutely love fish keeping too, I have a few aquariums myself a few mini ponds in my yard/garden that I’ve just set up and already they have their own little ecosystems starting up. So I’m totally here to support and watch whatever you want to post and I’m sorry things got too much for you. Btw if you happen to show your fish tanks in any vlogs I can always chat to you in the comments about them, if you wanted…because I could talk fish all day and don’t have people to talk to about them. Sending you lots and lots of love. I’m so happy to see your face on here again ❤xxx

Annoo Sweetheart 💖 I am soooo relieved and happy to see you and hear your lovely voice. Have been thinking a lot about you, worried, feared ... 😮‍💨 Good to hear you were ok ☺️ I can imagine and completely do understand your reason to take the time off. Do whatever floats your boat. 🥰 Indeed chrocheting/knitting does help me going through these times. Started with your lovely Cocoon Cardigan back 2019/2020 and still working 😆

Welcome back sweetie!! Even if you do one video a month, I would love to meet your fish! Annoo Designs could include your resin work , knitting, telling us about wonderful theater and concerts, whatever you want to share with us. I also listen to audio books while I crochet. Even share your favorite books with us?. So happy to see you back, healthy and happy. Ps...I've been horse crazy since I was a child When I turned 40, I got one of my own. I could have kept saying "I can't afford it." I didn't want to end up 80 years old and saying "I wish I had gotten a horse when I was younger.". I've had him 21 years now and he's a great love of my life. I'm SO HAPPY YOU DID IT! And that you're happy and proud. No reply needed 😉

Annoo, dear, I’m so happy that you are back. I just want you to know, that though your beautiful content, you’ve thought me to understand crochet design and you gave me the courage to start working on my own beautiful designs, not just following the instructions all the time. I will always be grateful for your content and as a content creator myself, I completely understand exactly about what you’re talking about- I’m on the break from Instagram and blogging also for 18 months now and you again gave me a courage, this time to get back to my followers.. maybe with some crochet content. sending you love

Happy you are back! I have many projects of yours I have done or have in my to do project bags, my new thing is to watch crochet/ related videos while crocheting other projects, or lately just watching to relax and unwind. Glad your back I will be very interested in this new content, you have helped me develop my passion of crochet and looking forward to more of what you will share. Please take care of yourself first, the rest will come. Good luck with the store. My sister in law and I get together couple times a year to go on yarn crawls, when we plan vacations we look in the area for yarn stores and add it to are itineraries. I hope one day we can make it to your store. Best of Luck🎉

Hello Annoo!! I just happened to be up late with the weight of the world on my shoulders and not able to sleep. So I decided to check and see what is going on on KZbin @2:00am and there you were!! At first I thought it was an old video until I noticed the title. I can relate to being burned out by the demands of a hobby that you once enjoyed. I’m kind of experiencing that myself right now. Glad you took the time to regroup and find yourself again. Congratulations on your new store!! I wish you all the best. Most of all, I am so glad that you are back. It’s like getting reacquainted with and old friend. You have truly been missed. ❤

First of all welcome back. Missed you. So glad to c you are doing good. Totally get it. My family has been encouraging me to sell my projects. I thumb my nose to it for the reasons u mentioned. Knitting and crocheting is my passion and I don’t want to do anything to lose that. I make things for family and friends as a memory. Things when I’m gone they have those memories of me. It’s something I enjoy. I don’t ever want to lose that feeling with deadlines etc. I don’t ever want my hobby to feel like a job. Knowing me I would lose interest in something I love. I don’t ever want it to be a stress factor. I had marketing ppl approach me and my answer is always no My family doesn’t always understand that but it’s my decision. I want to keep it fun and enjoyable and not a chore or something I would start to dread. U need to be you and true to yourself. If ppl don’t understand that, that’s their problem and not yours. Do you 😊

Great, to have you❤😊 back! You have been missed but your crocheting tutorials have been marching on, you have been recommended to many of my acquaintances. Your creations have been given gifts and l have bragged about your gift. I continually have been credited with being talanted and all l did was listen and learn. Enough if l keep going on you won't fit through the door into your oasis. Cheers, my dear, from Perth, Australia

I understand why you felt the way you did. I have been crocheting since I am 10 yrs old and like you I love crochet but I have many craft loves. My family always says to me why don’t you open a store because you make such beautiful things and my response is “then it will not be fun anymore”. Glad you are back on your terms and if you have any haters just delete them ❤😊

Yes, we do gave to step back sometimes & take care of ourselves. I could never do a channel at all. I guess I have became more selfish with my time. And crocheting is my therapy. It's perfect! Except a couple of mths ago I began a crazy quilt journey & its addictive. New things you make are the best therapy of anything.

So glad you took this time for yourself. Putting out YT videos must be a grueling task even if it is your passion plus you then expose yourself to possible negativity which takes a strong person to overcome. I have often thought to start a small business for Crochet & my other passion, Wreath Making now that I am retired. However, I have decided not to do that because I don't want the pressure of deadlines to steal my joy & lose my passion for creating anything at all. Plus life happens & sometimes the Crafts need to be set aside for a bit. So I will Crochet or make Wreaths for Family & Friends (for free) which provides me enough work for an entire year...it just works out somehow. So please post whatever your heart desires because those of us who love to follow you will be here to support & enjoy watching. 💛

OMG Annoo, I hate to hear all the stress, it should be fun, and about hobby. I modified your Carribean Queen Cardigan just last month for my summer hoodie & I just realized you've been missing 😢 (I was busy knitting too 😂). You know, from how I see it, you just do what you like. No need to design new stuff, like, every month. And I'm already happy to hear you read all the comments, but seriously, I think you don't have to reply every comment, unless the ones with important questions. You could just give a love to other comments. I wish you shop will be a good thing for you & your happiness, please, BE HAPPY! Awaiting our new future in youtube-relationship ❤

🧶Hi, Annoo, thank you for sharing! I’m multi-interested, too and like to design myself, so I wasn’t really worried, just wondering. I suggested your channel to beginners who were able to follow in English and translated some videos or showed your wonderful art of making things simple. You would be astonished to see the combination of your designs with knitting… I love to combine! I even started to combine fabric with crocheting, starting with an old second hand dress. And every day I take my 'hour of reading', with a cup of tea ☕, at this time in the garden, following some book channels, like Miranda Mills… I admired how you could find time to 'feed' your channel so intensely… and congratulate your taking time for this break and now having a yarn shop!! After retiring I got a lot of suggestions to open a 'yarn café' … because if I sit together with others, it’s already a bit like that and I like to bake, too… But I hate paper work… so I do that in private and for free for people who like that. You’re so welcome back, love, Monika, Germany❣

Hello again, dear Annoo! Glad to see you are back, and glad to hear that you took care about yourself. This is your channel, you do what you want to do, what you like to do. I for sure will stay on here. I realized sometime last year that i watch too many videos from crochet creators. It took away so many time and i found out that it stresses me that i can´t do all the awesome tutorials they make, be it because of no time, be it because i could not use whatever it was, and i found myself way too deep in this rabbithole when i looked through my ufo boxes... Turned out that i had over 80 unfinished projects in boxes and bags! Plus the amount of projects i worked on, 25 scattered around my house and each got a bit of time, some more and some less. That was so unhealthy, so overwhelming, so i stepped on the brake. Frogged half of the unfinished projects allready, sorted the 25 wips out in 2 boxes, one for "taking a break" and one for continuing to work on. I stopped trying to watch each and every video of the creators i follow. So now i have 3 days in which i check out my creators channels, depending on how much videos i watch it can be up to weeks until i finished my list. But hey, videos don´t run away and we all need to live and love our lifes! Life is short! We need to enjoy it, not being stressed out. So, welcome back! I will be here, hope you will only have fun with your channel from now on.

Hi Annoo. It was such a blessing for me to come into your shop and meet you today. Your shop is lovely! And I will be writing a very favorable review over the weekend. I’m so glad I’m close enough to visit and wish you much success. I totally get where your coming from. After I lost my mom in 2019 I’ve struggled to get my desire to knit and crochet back. And the last 2 years have brought continued loss in my family both young and old. 9 family members including my dad and 2 very close friends. It’s just been so hard to get back into it. And of course we had the pandemic. We all go through tough times and understand how different things can effect us. I’m glad you are true to yourself and I see happiness in your future. I’m so excited with my purchases! Your store is beautiful! Hope to visit again soon!❤️🤗🤗❤️
