Thank you for this content and for the information! Good hair care is a human experience regardless of race. However, we now understand why certain products take to your hair that might not take to others. I’m one to represent all the “strands” of my heritage, regardless of skin color. But, some just aren’t there with that and it’s ok. To each their own. We all have culture and learning it and sharing it is beautiful! 💜

'A lil'......girl.....you ARE mixed? Thats why people are asking 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I do think its important to say (even though its awkward sometimes) because little (full) Black girls end up wondering why their hair doesn't look like all these other girls hair when it turns out.....all the 'Black' girls they are watching.....are actually mixed. Now that doesn't change hair growth rate etc but the looser the hair, the less damage caused when brushing it, the less snapping of the ends and the more length retention. Its a struggle lol 😂. Also, your grandaddy is from Kolkata.... that is very cool. Mine is half Indian, Half Jamaican from Delhi India, and my Gran is half Scottish and half Jamaican..... How they managed that I'll never know....but it is interesting 😊

@lifeonabudget85133 жыл бұрын
You are very right! People should know that the hair of people from different races behave differently. If you are full black, you hair is different from someone who isn't full black and who isn't black at all. It's the same as when these celebrities have massive plastic surgeries and claim that were born like that. It creates false insecurities within people based on dishonesty.
@adwoamk89183 жыл бұрын
Some research shows that Asians have a faster growth rate and longer growth phase. The also tend to have coarse strands which of course reduces breakage. That's probably why most of the weave, bundle e.t.c are from there.

I have a question, as our hair is the same texture and curl pattern. Do you find that one side of your head of hair is thicker/longer on one side. For example: My left side head of hair appears longer when Its wet, the curl pattern is so more defined and the hair is much thicker. On the right side my hair appears shorter, more dense and less full. Although I find these flaws, I feel its amazing when I'm finish styling it because it all works out where it looks all the same all over length etc. Also when I get my hair blown out, its all the same length. Do you feel like your hair is thicker on either side of your head? Does anyone else?
