Immediately after you finished edge pairing, you did parity on the outer layers. When you got to OLL, you did parity again. Doing parity twice could have been avoided. After you finished edge pairing, preserve the parity edge. Do your cross on a color opposite from the parity edge. For example, your parity edge was blue/white, so you would do green or yellow cross. This means that the parity edge will be in the last layer. You could then see if you need to do inner or outer parity, and you would just have to do parity once.

Long time fan here. You inspired me to start my own little channel :-) One thing I recommend for 6x6 is watching Jperm's video "big cube fundamentals and tips", he has a lot of great advice. Don't worry too much about views, a lot of that is just youtube messing with their algorithms. You have a solid and large core audience that will continue to stick with you. If you're looking for ideas, I think a lot of younger cubers would enjoy videos about parts of cubing history that they missed. Why was the Zhanchi a big deal? What was it like when the first ghost cube came out? Who was your competition a few years ago? etc. I'm also really looking forward to your review of the Tengyun. Will you go back to a Dayan main after all these years? Maybe!

Centers: build inside out so you don't have to slice that much, be color neutral (it's easy), dont do that kick out put back in thing on your first center cuz it's pointless, dont do a slice insert when youre inserting an inner bar when the outer bar isn't there, dont slice back after you do your commutator Edges: abandon current edges if they're bad "like high school girlfriends", do cycling on L4E, also if there's no matced up on L4E, do an M U2 M', when you get parity, do one of the opposite colors of that edge so that you won't get edge and oll you'll just get edge or mslice which is bad but better lookahead 3x3: get gud... also learn coll

When I solve a 6x6 or 8x8 or 10x10, I always solve the four white edges first, and then the non-yellow edges next. That way any parity is contained on the yellow edges that go on the last layer. That way you would only need to do a red bull once, whereas on this example solve you had to do a red bull twice.

I started cubing 20 years ago on an official hard to turn Rubik's cube. Collected a bunch of original cubes from eBay, which was brand new at the time. Eventually tried to get in to speed curbing with some cube4you cubes and then lost interest for 10 years or so. Although I did get a vcube7 but it wasn't the greatest. I just got back into it and love all of your content. Starting out with a yuxin little magic and may get a mf8 based on your reviews . I'm a metal head myself and feel like I relate to your channel more than the others, so keep it up dude. \m/ \m/

Welcome back! Everybody needs a vacation! Glad to see your videos again. I always enjoy your reviews because I feel that your taste in cubes is similar to mine so I find your reviews very reliable. I got my WuQue because you were so positive about it, and even though I really hated it at first, it's grown on me and now I'm at least a minute faster than with my QiYuan. I'm now comfortable sub 4, close to sub 3, and still improving. Might need some help setting it up and lubing it though, but maybe I can get some help with that at the competition I am going to.

1. get an aoshi gtsm 2. have no colour preference 3. try to plan first two bars in inspection 4. try to avoid inner layer turns 5. parity but for edges the lookahead needs to improve, its far more efficient to solve the edge slower so that you can find the next then quickly solve the edge and then look for the next one (but there are very few cubers with anywhere near decent 6x6x6 lookahead during edges (basically just Max and Kevin and maybe Feliks)

when you do edge pairing, i think you should focus less on getting a whole edge at once and more on getting pairs (bottom, middle, top). it helps me just keep pairing and decreases my time looking for specific pieces, especially at the beginning, bc u see a pair and u just go
