I used to watch and record this show on a daily basis. Before this episode I’d already seen plenty from each season with one gumshoe getting all three of the lightning round questions, but this was the first one in which I’d seen anyone get all five of the chase ones!

​@@MrDash03And she played The Chief in not just WitWiCS? with Greg Lee as host and the inimitable Rockapella as the band, but also on 1996-1998’s PBS kids series, _Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego?_ with Kevin Shinnick as host. It was much less successful with weird live action villains as opposed to animated ones, and the band that sang the theme in the outro were good for what they were. Also, ironically, at least as it pertains to this episode, Lynne Thigpen voiced a judge on _King of the Hill_ in an episode. I’ll never forget hearing her say, “...however, let the record state that Mr. Hill definitely knows his pornography.”, or something along those lines. She _also_ appeared in the hilarious Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson film _Anger Management_ .

Carmen Sandiego appears to be the most difficult part of the game show. In any continent, not studied well, can be difficult, especially with the cities clusters of smaller countries. Boy, the boy still did very well. I appreciated the show with show as a child and I appreciate it now as an adult.

I think that there should be a reboot of this Awesome Game Show, and have present day Celebrity's giving out the clues, like, Adam Driver, Oscar Issacs, Jon Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Mark Hamil, Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jeff Goldbloom, Sam Neill, Laura Dern, John Cena, etc. etc.

Why does it have to be a celebrity? I think that’s why some of the reboots of game shows on Nickelodeon failed. They went with popularity but more often than not it doesn’t translate over to this type of tv. You need some one with personality and well read. I’m sure there are plenty of great unknown actors/ hosts. If it has to be some one established my picks would be levar burton as the host and Leslie Jones as the chief

I always thought the final round was a little too hard even for these kids that do know geography. 8 locations in 45 seconds is crazy. I've seen people win but with literally like 1 second left or even when 0 was on the clock. There is absolutely no room for error. One mistake and you have lost

Yep. IIRC, rather oddly, they didn’t have a ton of kid stars giving clues on the show. The child/youth appearance that always stands out to me most is _Blossom_ -era Mayim Bialik, though IIRC, she was a contestant in an episode where the gumshoes were each paired with a celebrity.
