It means so much to see one of my favourite KZbin channels since I was a little 'un playing a fan-game I and my bestie (Kruithne) created :). This video alone has inspired us to get to work on updating the game with the new locations (Neither of us had played since Shadowlands), and add what seems to be a much-requested feature - a scorebased mode. Glad you two seemed to enjoy it (and sorry about Shattrath, Simon!)

Every time they were just saying "screw it, it's around here" and then could have just looked for defining characteristics in the picture! That last place was RIGHT beside a 4 way intersection in the road... and they drop the pin nowhere near any. It's not always that obvious, but that one was VERY clear.

For anyone who knows the lore, the ruins are a dead giveaway. Teldrassil has only been around since post Warcraft 3, or in other words not too long before day 1 WoW on the timeline, so it isn't old enough to be covered in ruins. Had Lewis known this, he'd be right with Simon about it being somewhere on the mainland.

I got into Yogscast in 2011 when Minecraft beta was released. I was 23 at the time and absolutely loved the Lewis and Simon Minecraft videos. At 34, I'm so happy and nostalgic to see them together and talking games (big WoW player) again. :)

Like The Isle of dread in feralas, the Dwarven farm beyond the mountains east of arathi highlands, Hyjal Crater, Darkwhisper Gorge in Winterspring, Deadwind pass. So ofc what did me in was some horde questgiver in Stonetalon peak.

The Hillsbrad Foothills mine is a part of the "Battle of Hillsbrad" Horde quest line (and "Dangerous!") from Tarren Mill. I hate that I know that and that I recognised all the locations, even the WoD one.

I'm not a WoW guy, but I click for Simon and Lewis! I feel like if you get the wrong zone you get no points, but if you're in the right zone it should give you points based on distance like in geoguessr

There is another one which is very similar to actual geoguessr, it scores you based on distance and there is even multiplayer!! You should definitely try it out and see who does best, maybe even invite other yogs!!
