My boat salesman is telling me that the Westerbeak (spelling) generator on the R-27 is not a very good generator and it is difficult to find repairs for it. I respect your opinion. Do you have one on your boat and what do you think of them?

They only offered the generator on the 2018-2020 models. It was replaced with a slow start webasto air conditioner that runs off LFP (600ah). I’m not a fan of generators on the boat, and we don’t have one. Solar power is better in my opinion.

Gasoline for propulsion. We have a 5 gallon diesel tank for our heater. (Which we run kerosene instead of diesel). But the Yamaha F300 and T9.9 kicker are gasoline.
