Me too, I disagree with him on the criminal charges though. Only when people start to go to jail for these things will the public start to see this shit is wrong. But over here in UK, certainly in the area I live in, driving on pavements to take aways which are usually only visited on foot in town centres are having dozens of non professional drivers driving up pavements to collect food for the Covid prisoners. Multiple times a night I’m blocking their way and giving them a bollocking. Can’t believe in a couple of years, this stuff was strange to watch in Russia as it didn’t happen here. Now though 🤦‍♂️

@@lupo10 while I understand your sentiment, I would hope we could find a better deterrent than actually sending people to prison for such infractions - a prison sentence is absolutely one of the cruelest, most inhumane things that you can do to a person and there are VERY few things that I believe actually merit it - Kirill is not exaggerating when he says he doesn't want to "ruin someone's life" by involving the police.

They always try to justify their actions with logic like "They could have moved away", "They in fact threw themselves under the wheels or on the bonnet" and such nonsense. @@MrTarmonbarry germany as well, over here we differ between a "regular assault" and "dangerous assault" with the latter being by using a deadly tool as a weapon or implicit threat. which, if criminal charges are pursued can result in a minimum of 6 months jailtime or up to 10 years. and the if proven the car was used as a threat, no matter what circumstances, even so much as touching the person in question with your car can change the assault charges to dangerous assault. people like that dont belong on anyones streets not even when they are sorry moments later without anyone telling them that they screwed up. this split second snap of them thinking it would be a good idea of going through with this can end up in deadly situations. a drivers license is not a right, its a privilege

@xmtxx
@xmtxx 3 жыл бұрын
@@snafuart I completely agree with you. This is crazy that she weren't arrested on the spot. However, I'm pretty sure it would have been the same in germany or france (my country), when the car was king (70's- 80's). Even in the 2000's you could escape jail if you killed somebody by recklessly driving. (Pretty sure it still happens nowadays)
@snafuart
@snafuart 3 жыл бұрын
@@xmtxx I am not sure about France but definitely not in Germany that easy and it never was normal, I personally even think the punishment would have been more draconic back then than it is today, but it is still a high penalty thing here and you wont be walking home, but straight to jail. It is also not you in Germany who decides in this case if charges are pressed, but the prosecutors office. Who follows the law, being very stict concerning intentional usage of a car as a weapon. I rmember an US armed forces lady in Germany, who got arrested by German police at the spot they stopped her for driving with her husband on the hood, the charge was attempted murder and the case was only two viillages away back in the 90ies. The case was completely different though because in fact it was him, an abusive husband, who tried to refuse to let her go, hitting the car and finally jumping on it, while he keppt hitting the windshield in attempt to break into the car. And she was snailing with him on the car, trying to get to the police station in fear; not like this psychopath one in this video, speeding. Luckily there was video footage ftom the Army base they both lived proving her version, but till all of this was investigated properly, she was in German jail for some four months because he was lying about the whole incident. I can assure you. an attack with a weapon on a person is attempted murder here, unless it is not self defense. And it does not matter what you use as a weapon, does not matter if it is a knife, a baseball bat or a car.

I'd just like to give a shoutout to the cops this time. We've seen a lot of cops since Stopxam's earlier days and these cops really deserve our appreciation. Also, notice how the lady REALLLLY wanted cops from a specific police station... hmmmmm

Or prison garb. Why isn't delibrately driving into someone not a serious assault? It would be aggravated assault in my country, punishable by up to 14 years imprisonment.

@@Michaelthekiwi as Aaron already said, in come countries criminal charges sometimes need to be pursuid by the victim. in some cases when someone does something illegal it will always be pursuid, or only if the victim is trying to claim damages. idk how exactly the law works in russia but from what Kirril said it seems that they have at least some control on wether to make this into a criminal charge as well

2:11 In America, a man took off with a woman on his vehicle's front windshield. He was chased by police and arrested. In court the Judge decided to make an example of him and he was convicted with a prison sentence of 24 years in prison without the possibility of parole and a $7,500.00 fine. I bet this Russian woman only get a ticket for 1,000 rubles.

When people drive their car on the sidewalk here in the Netherlands, they are pulled out of their car. Apparently they think it's normal in Russia! Very good to make people aware that this is absolutely not possible.
