This story proves that evil is real. Keep close track of your children and forget how things worked in years past, when people could be trusted. Also buy AirTags for your children and hide them in clothing, as well as a smartphone or Apple watch that has an internal tracking device. Both, in case one is dropped or removed. Well worth the money for the ability to track your children.

Apart from ordinary local crimes and violence, there is human trafficking kidnappings. For sex slave trafficking, organ and blood trafficking and satanic ritual abuse. And then, there is also "Missing 411". Practical takeaway: don't take your eyes away from children outside home for a split second, specially near big events or places with high flow of people. You just don't know how bad it is..
