I think the biggest issue for ScarLip is finding how she wants to market herself. She and her team doesnt know if they want to push her as this hardcore, raw, and strong energy female rapper which is harder to break into mainstream or if they want to subtly turn her into this sexy female rapper who leans more into more commercial sounds. Its gonna be difficult for her until she finds a middle ground, she can be a bit sexy while still covering up and spitting like she's known for

I saw her short freestyles b4 THIS IS NEW-YORK , GLIZZY GLOBBER and NO STATEMENT and i love those songs serve FIRE and a breath of fresh air or a shot in the arm to the repetitive female rap world . As a fan of female rap, scar lips brand was all over the place, she is talented but she never had a solid sound, she delved into the ice spice realm, add on top of that she made it clear that she was more on the new female wave then Nicki ( which is clearly her prerogative but then was clearly biting from Nicki style- which ticked some barbs off) add on top of that some of the shorts she released on twitter were borderline mediocre, it came off a bit mediocre to the general public, but she is very talented tho

I like her, but the pop song she did (the one you mentioned, I don't remember the name), where she was showing her body in the video, etc., was terrible. I kind of stopped paying attention after that although I would definitely be here for a mixtape or something.
