When I was 18 I switched my Chevy step side from the throttle body injection to a shiny chrome holly 750 on my brand new just released Chevy vortech crate motor (if that dates me at all) and I found out how much fuel pumps love being restricted down from 45 psi to 7 and overheated the fuel pump and killed it in the streets of philly wich lead to a frantic hide the truck from cops looking for street racers while we ran home and got my buddies truck and my trailer lol

Most likely not an "All Pontiac Block" that Butler sells. Got a short block from Butler that had what All Pontiac said was an anomaly and 15% of their blocks have it. It's a crack that went from water hole 3/4 of the way around the head bolt hole and almost touched the other water hole. Ran it on the dyno at Boddie's in Sacto Ca, heads wouldn't seal. Took it to the Machine Shop to "O" ring, they wouldn't touch it, they mag'd and said it was a crack. Butler did send me another block. My beef is for $16,000 for a short block they never should have sent me or anyone else one of the 15%. I got a Kauffman Block, used all the stuff from the Butler Block with some up grades, BDS 871 E85, 511 cu in. The Butler 535 cu in was Blown, made 1140HP 1270ft Torque @6000 13lbs boost, was pulleyed to make 22lbs, leaked water and boost. In a 68 GTO New 511 motor should run well into the 12's. I Emailed Butler about what they used for a Dampener, they wrote back, "Call BDS". I've been buying parts from Butler for 20 yrs. I wanted to ask them if this means we're broke up, and if it does, then come and get your shit., "BITCH"

FuelTech EFI on that SBC Nitrous Engine is a must and u can turn that 1 kit into 2 dry kits too. I have it on my SBC and its the best decision I ever made. They have the best nitrous program of any of the EFI setups

Ron is the man when it comes to Sbc with nitrous but if you ran a 400ci+ small block anything even 20 years ago you should of had 2” primaries if you were making big power. I had a sbf from Disomma back than that made 850h+ N/A with 1 kit and it had 2” primaries that stepped from that point. It was a bad bitch as the time lol.
