Thank you for this memory of Le Scheffer Anne. We first went the Scheffer some 7 years ago as we knew the then owner through our joint membership of a French wine appreciation confrèrie. We took my father there from England for his 85th birthday lunch. We will be returning in a week's time as part of the celebrations for my 65th birthday and look forward to finding it thriving in the hands of the new owners as highlighted in your video. My impoverished mother fed us with bone marrow when we were babies in the 40's. in post war rationing in Britain.. she knew the value of cheap cuts of meat and to this day liver is a favourite.
