First I'll say what an amazing hay crop this year. I know Lester worked hard on these pastures, so anyone who says he is not a farmer can go sniff the hay. He cut, bush wacked and cleaned the pastures. He fertilized and nutured the crop. And look what he has as a result. Well done Lester! Secondly, look at them happy animals. What a thrill for my heart to see them running across the cut pastures. No doubt the were smelling the hay thinking how blessed that they were. Third, thank you for confirming what I think we all thought happened to Forrest. I'm sorry that we caused you pain in telling it. I hope it was not for fear of our judgement. I know I have none. This comes from the knowledge that I know you will always do what is best for the animal. I'm sure you know that we ask out of love and concern for the animals. As a suggestion please know that you don't have to respond with a video, you can just post a picture of the animal and give a line or two post. You can even say 'no comments please' and turn off comments to that post. At least we would know something. Thanks again, this was a great video. Love you all.

I kind of thought you had probably found a new home for Forrest! I mean, I knew you wouldn’t leave him out in the woods by himself forever. And it is wonderful that he is in a new place where he is loved and happy! By the way ... I am jealous of you walking through that fresh mown hay! There aren’t many smells better than fresh mown hay, especially after it has been laying in the hot summer sun for a while! We live in an area there are a good many hayfields, and every time I go by one that has just been cut, I roll my windows down and enjoy the joy of smelling the fresh cut hay!!!

God is great. And he blessed you with 66 beautiful rolls of hay for all of those babies. You got the rain you need it to work that fertilizer into the ground to produce such a beautiful crop.. I loved seeing all the animals running and frolicking and playing in the cut pasture and then my heart broke for you Jami as you gave an update on Forest. But at least now he's happy and he's with other animals that give him love. I can't imagine how hard it was for y'all to have to rehome Forest, but like you said it was in his best interest. Maybe one day you can go and get us an update on 4th with a quick video because that would be wonderful. Thanks for all that each and everyone of you do for every animal at the sanctuary and of course at PawPaw. You all are true blessings from God and we are all thankful that you provide love, nurturing a beautiful home for those animals. ❤️❤️❤️

I've lived on the outskirts of the middle nowhere for almost 3 years now and I relating to some of your experiences. So happy you got 66 rolls of hay! That's awesome! I'm so sorry Forrest was abandoned by Ivy but I'm very happy he got a new home that he is very comfortable in. I have seen people make comments on some of your live videos asking about Forrest. On several of them the same person would ask over and over and over again, sometimes 20 and 30 times at least, what happened to Forrest? I mean it looked like they were getting so irritated because no one was answering. My thought was either something happened to him or he was rehomed and that you guys just weren't ready to talk about it. I think it's ridiculous to keep asking you guys things like this so many times. God bless you all for the jobs that you do on the farm. Love your videos!

Thank you for telling us about Forrest. He's a special, loving, protective guy! It's sad he's not at ISS but his health, well being, mental health and happiness is first. I'm thrilled that he has a happy home where he feels he can serve his purpose. To feel needed and important is his best trait, as well as being lovable. What wonderful bounty! Jami, thank you for sharing Forest's update. As hard as that decision was, you and Lester are wonderful caregivers for your sanctuary. I also remember it is not your policy to let us know of any deaths/rehomings until you are prepared to share the information and deem it appropriate to do so.
