I noticed that comment about the Kim's visiting too, but just figured something fun was planned. ;) How exciting that you all get to meet in person! Watching you both go out for the first time w/o Oliver reminded me of my first time out w/o my kids. It IS the strangest feeling and the "rush" to get back is crazy. Being a new parent is really scary especially when you are right in the midst of the anxiety of the learning process. It changes you as a person and as a couple. But let me tell you, you guys have got GAME! Your really are doing great rolling with the punches, finding what works for you and trusting your gut, doing what's right. Just keep telling yourselves, "I've Got this!" Cuz you really do! Trust me, I've had 4 and you are ahead of the game as far as experience and finding your new roles!

It's so awesome that your mom gets to be so close and is very involved Missy! My mom only lives about 40 min away from us and we see her often but she is NOT supportive of breastfeeding. She's almost disgusted and she refuses to be around. :( I love that your mom supports you so well!

I was thinking about the adventure today & how UR getting a ton of advice & I realized, sometimes you just have to make your own mistakes. NOT that you are making Any 'mistakes' Missy & Bryan, but it's all part of this amazing parenting journey, finding YOUR way. Even if someone had told U in advance, you WILL want scented baby wash, or the theater wont be a good idea...You can't really make those judgements until you experience them & learn from them. You guys R finding your way & doing great!

My son is about to be 11 months old and he goes to the movies with us once a month since he was 6 weeks old. He has never cried in the movies. He sits and watches the first half and then sleeps the second half :)

Missy, my son is almost 22 months old and the longest I've been away from him is a few hours. I can't stand being away from him. All family lives at least one hour away from us so just knowing he's not just down the street is a hard feeling. I'm due in April and I can't stop thinking about how I need to let him leave for a night now so when the new baby is here that that's not his first night away.

Watch more vlogs im pretty new too, i started from the beginning and am into July now. They do live together with her family, cuz Cali is expensive. This way they all chip in and can share a huge pretty house. Missy and Bryan have a Master Bedroom and bathroom, and Ollie has his own room too, but is in with them now of course. They just moved in the current house like a monthish ago.

When our son was 2 weeks old we went to a movie and same thing happened. Wouldn't eat, wouldn't settle. Just screamed and screamed. The movie theater gave us free tickets because they felt bad we had to miss the movie so that was nice. We waited a few months until I could leave him for 2 hours.

Whenever I go to the movies with a baby, I make sure to bring a cotton ball to pull apart and plug his ears so the loud sound doesnt hurt, and just nurse through. My newest is 4 months old now though so no more movies for me for a while.... :/ IUts so fun watching you guys grow and change as parents. Its good you wanted unscented and i understand why...so he can smell like him...but then you learned...maybe he does need a bit of a sweet boost.

Ever since my son was a newborn, we wanted to get him used to loud noises because we wanted to continue to do things even though we had a baby. None of that "hush hush the baby is sleeping" type deal. at 7 weeks old we took him to see (well it was more for us cause we are silly like that) monsters university. he didnt wake up once and he even let us go out to eat afterwards! It was great. you guys are awesome!

Should have put him in his iPood shirt... My 2 year old is a pro with the iPhone/ iPod/ iPad. I am all for baby wearing, but sometimes strollers are the way to go. I still take my stroller a lot and he walks, but it holds all our crap. OMG you went to target, right where I suggested you get the shae mountain stuff - its amazing. SMELL IT. I like the mint green label one. Yup you got it, LOVE it. It lasts forever too.

So so know how you feel!!!! I had to do everything myself, my husband is always working. When I finally want to go out my little man didn't like to cooperate. Especially after giving birth I was so sore and tired but I had to get out and do stuff. I was always stressed. No my little man is 7 months next week and he's pushing 19lbs and its hard to carry him around in the carseat. My back feels like its breaking! Luckily you have help!

Can you and Heidi talk about how you overcame your fear that your body wouldn't be able to carry to term? I've been doing IVF and dealing with a fear that if I get PG, it won't matter because my body won't be able to carry the pregnancy because it couldn't get pregnant naturally...thanks!
