Game websites got irrelevant a decade ago since it was obvious they were just extended advertisements for game companies. Because they needed the early review copies to try and be relevant...they would just shill for those companies or else they wouldn't get any next time. Hence everybody these days still thinks a 7/10 is a crappy game, since that was pretty much the lowest score those shill sites would give in general. And all the added activism that started around the time, didn't do them any favors either. I’ve played a few hours and so far so great. The graphics are amazing, the sound is amazing, the design is amazing. I couldn’t imagine a better interpretation of the characters. It feels like a mix between Sekiro and God of War, but less brutal, more linear and the difficulty is a bit too varied, imo. Some bosses take many tries until you get it, and the basic enemies can hardly even get a punch in before they go down, but maybe that’s how it should be. Do not miss out on this.

i think the only reason BM Wu Kong has so many players is because the studio lied and said it wasn't a Souls-Like but it very much is. Lots of people can't get past the first boss so i would imagine lots of refunds are incoming.

If people are wondering about this mistranslation, it's a Chinese idiom. While SOUNDING crude, it's a saying to convey something (that something being 'too much flattery is awkward') Certainly not worth trying to destroy lives over. These "journalists" should be charged.
