it would be very easy to add vehicles however gaijin have set a precedent when it comes to non-tree vehicles (Australia and Canada prime example) where they're in multiple trees so there is no continuity.

Germany doesn't need BENELUX. Germany needs some more Polish or Swiss vehicles. Namely AA platforms and maybe just one light tank that isn't up-tiered to kingdom come. A couple top tier jets wouldn't hurt, considering the fact that Germany is getting a microwaved dog turd shaped like a phantom to drag into 12.7 matches with Su-27SMs, Gripens, block 50 vipers, and F-15Cs.

@@colerend4431 Lovely question! Personally, I think Poland would be an awesome nation to have as its own tech tree. I would *LOVE* to take ORP Błyskawica into a naval match or see the Polish fighters of 302 and 303 squadrons. But it would essentially be a tree largely comprised of copy paste vehicles from the USSR, Britain, US, and Germany. I could be very wrong, I’ll admit, but I don’t think Poland has domestically produced enough vehicles to have a truly unique tech tree. There are definitely a good handful of very unique domestically produced Polish machines I’d love to see in the game but not enough to have a full tech tree on their own. Seeing as how Germany has a dearth of useful top tier jets (realistically there’s only 1), I think a Polish F-16 would be a welcome appearance to that tech tree. Certainly more welcome than the atrocity that will be the F4-F ICE. There are already a couple Polish and Swiss machines in the German tree and I’d like to see more Polish representation in the game so it seems like an easy solution.

Poland is too large for sub tree. Tks, tks-d, tkd, PZInż 130, pzinz 160, 4 tp, 7 tp, 9 tp, 10 tp, 14 tp (many upgraded tanks such as pt-76, t-34m2, merida), brdm with malutka/konkurs, pt-91, pt-17, leo 2pl, anders 120mm, bwp borsuk, rosomak L, ahs krab, k-2, m1a1FEP... In my opinion Poland should have tree with czech and hungarians

I think that we need NEW tech trees but consolidated ones instead of nation-exclusives. E.G. "central european" tech tree with Baltic, Visegrad and Balkan vehicles would work really well, as it would be rather controversial move to assign (both current day and historical) vehicles to currently existing nations.

Germany will soon be irrelevant if everyone just uses copy/paste German vehicles but with also their own vehicles and subtrees. This is already seen in Sweden, and will soon be France and Italy. Imagine if everyone had a Leopard 2a6 and Leopard 2a7. As an Austrian also, I'd genuinely be a bit mad if my tech tree was put into the French tech tree. Also we use a lot of Swiss vehicles like the Sky Ranger.

Also slightly off-topic, here are some Austrian vehicles Germany can get: Pandur 1 & 2 variants, including the Pandur 105mm, the ASCOD variants, with 30 or 40mm automatic cannon or an unmanned turret armed with 30mm automatic cannon and anti-tank guided missiles, 4K-7FA variants, etc. We also have lots of unique WW2 weapons which were not implemented, and lots of light tanks that Germany needs as well. I would be very happy to see them. :)

@@anon8206 so we're on about purely top tier vehicles? Things like the phantom, f16, tornado, f4, mirage, f15s, t80s, mig 29, su 27 etc? Of which germany gets a t72, mig 29, f4 and tornado variant(s). Because the best german aircraft is not german right now so that logic doesn't apply and yet I grinded the german line before I grinded the russian line and I have no interest in getting the leopards so people don't play the way you think they do.

I would celebrate it more if all the “small nations” that are in the EU should get a separate tech tree (tech tree name: European Union [EU]). If I want to drive France then I want to drive Leclercs and not Leopards, if they really do allow Belgium and the Netherlands to come in I would think that's a real shame because France doesn't need to get Leopard tanks in the top tier, nor the F-16 because which are simply awesome the way they are now, of course the Leclercs are missing the Spallliner or the OLF120F2, but as they are they are actually perfect and don't need a subtree in my opinion.

I just hope that Framce won't get the F-16s. I love the uniqueness of the Mirages and want them to have that at the top. It's like Italy, they have almost every single top tier in the tree. Makes for a wierd tech tree.

I think there should be more seperate trees I dont see a problem with people not playing them it just makes each country less unique because they have so many vehicles and it isnt even than country anymore

Personally I think that Gaijin is trying to ‘bring new life’ into one of the least played nations in game, which in turn generates the least income and return of investment for them. Hopefully the BeNeLux will bring new players, if only people from the BeNeLux region, to the French TT. In my opinion, if BeNeLux were ever to be added to France, it should have been later. France does lack several iconic Armoured fighting vehicles in game right now. I hope they keep developing French vehicles.

The Dutch Army is highly integrated with the Bundeswehr. Giving them to France would be historically incorrect. Germany deserves an F-16 as much as France does. Luckily, both Holland and Belgium operate the aircraft.

Germany also Invaded the Netherlands and bombed the shit out of Rotterdam. Among other things. The dutch also used the AMX 13/105 and som other french tech. Your point makes sense however. So how about 9.0 and below goes to france? And 9.3 and above goes to germany?

I always wanted Hungary to be in the German tree, simply because we only have a few independent vehicles, and all the other vehicles we share with East Germany. That would result in a few low-tier Hungarian tanks, Csaba, Toldi, Turán, Zrínyi, then the Lynx, and on the Air side, we can have the Héjja II, the WM-23, the RMI-8, we do share the Me-210Ca with Germany, and on higher maybe the Yak-9P Vércse, but why tbh, and then add a few more MiGs, and throw a Gripen at the end of the West German/Nato Germany line, and you either add the rest as unlockable skins, or foldered vehicles, and not end up with Italy having such an insanely diverse tech tree, this is too much in my opinion. This also tackles the problem of the Tiger(Tigris) and the Panther(Párduc) in Hungarian service. Then we could also have Austria-Hungary in Naval, and some Austrian vehicles of the post-war era, and it would all come nicely together.

as a French player I don’t care a bit about the debate (but i take it) what interests me is more to fill the gaps especially at level 7.7 or 8 because the stabilizer arrives too late. After to explain why we are often angry the French players it’s just that they exist so many vehicles that are not added that it’s frustrating Anyway continues the videos are cool 👌

Swiss would invariably be a much better choice to fill tree holes imo. Too many reasons to list, but at the very least cause of Shark FL20 and all other vehicles which Germany has a native version of already available to it. They don’t need the Swiss at all, but France will be without any of them without the Swiss.

France, over ant out. Also, Denmark und Norway should (obviously) come to Sweden. Ok, we can discuss Denmark, but it is many times considered a scandinavian country. I just don't know how many and what type of ships and boats these countries own and have owned. Edit: Swizerland can be added to France or Italy. I like the german tech tree(german myself), but it really does not need many more vehicles from other nations.

The only way they could get away without adding any new independent nations is if they implement alternate tab tech trees in the game, one nation having two air trees or two ground trees. There are way too many vehicles still out there to fit within the current trees as sub-trees. Especially if the 5 line limit holds true.

Everyone is getting this wrong. Gaijin chooses subtrees based upon historical alliances or entanglement. That's why South Africa and India are in the British tree (former Commonwealth military partners), Hungary is in the Italian tree (WW2 alliance between Mussolini and Horthy), Australia in the US tree (Diggers fighting Korea and Vietnam), and Thailand is in Japan (WW2 allies): Based upon historical criteria, these are the correct subtrees for each main: China: Bangladesh, North Korea, Pakistan, Taiwan France: Benelux, UAE Germany: Argentina, Austria, Switzerland Great Britain: Canada, India, Malaysia, Portugal, South Africa Israel: Egypt, Iran, Turkey Italy: Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, Spain Japan: Poland, Thailand Russia: Iraq, Syria, Ukraine, Yugoslavia Sweden: Denmark, Finland, Norway USA: Australia, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, South Korea Unassigned: Czechoslovakia, Indonesia, Singapore

I'm a french main and i'm not mad if the subtree comes to France : it fills up some barebones BRs, hopefully will bring more people to the french TT, maybe bring down some BRs on some vehicles. And it's not like those subtrees get very big anyway once they are implemented, so most of the vehicles after will still be french... And most of all if we really get VEXTRA and a coastal boat next update , i'm already happy

But who cares about filling gaps ? Filling gaps litteraly means more grind and who wants that ? Why should france have a 10.0 lineup if historically france didn't develop vehicles that go in that br ? This will just thicken the grind and one of the reason sweden is becoming more popular aside their top tier vehicles is because it's a small nation with interesting vehicles but where the grind is not that big compared to other nations. I might be alone on this but I'd rather go from the amx 40 straight to the leclerc than play leopards 2 that are the main vehicles of another nation and that will make the grind even more longer.

In the French ground TT, there are no vehicles in between 9.7 and 11.7, forcing you to make a drastic change in playstyle when progressing from the AMX-40 to the Leclercs. Nobody likes that big jump.

While I agree with the sentiment as I do think warsaw pact vehicles should be in the USSR tree (Pre collapse at least to begin with) and i would not be surprised if Gaijin has vehicles like the Oplot and BTR-4 ready to go but were forced to shelve the releases due to obvious reasons I fear that move would be tantamount to suicide for Gaijin given the current political climate. while barely even regarded as lip service, Gaijin denounced the invasion of Ukraine by Russia and made efforts to distance it's IP from the country (the 2021 crossout donbas fiasco no-withstanding). to add Ukraine to the USSR tree (that in reality is considered the 'Russian' tree by players who don't see a difference from Russia and its communist empire) now would very easily be misinterpreted as a political statement backing the current russian regimes' fascist rhetoric regarding Ukraine's sovereignty.
