Ok this was honestly one of the best movies I've ever seen in a long time. I can't wait to rewatch it again soon.

The movie was very well done and Daisy did a fabulous job with the role.

but my question is.. why did they leave the youngest alone?! the youngest! and a girl, at that! yes, running away for their lives but they still should be concerned of the weakest/most vulnerable among them.. that i don't understand and sorta a plot hole.. older sisters leaving the youngest and a girl like them? the brother is young i guess but i would've wish he still took her with him and fight for their lives elsewhere.. besides this, i love the movie version and will read or maybe listen to the audio book version..

@@sherwinpinugu I think the idea was that it was an extremely broken family where it eventually became each one for their own. Also Kya was beaten the least so she wasn't yet as desperate to run away.

Great movie. Full of emotions, sad peaceful. Kya was an extremely strong person even though she presents as fragile.

I saw the movie, but i forgot at the end when they showed a church. What happened there? Did she get married? Attend a funeral, etc.? or was it just a memory of her childhood church? Anyone know?
@baryflawless2 ай бұрын
@@johnharrington6657 she gets married and many years later dies and there is also a funeral for her.

She does get married. But I believe when they show the church it is to show the passing away of the man (Jumpin) who owned the gas station with his wife. The couple that sold her many things and watched her grow up. :)
