Majority Kenyans actually have the same compounds and land, even larger than these homes in their rural areas, but don't appreciate that. What you're missing is just the building. You can start with a beautiful compound, and build later. Unless you love Nairobi atmosphere.

Nice looking neighborhood but the landlords there have a reputation for being very shady with expats. There was an investigative report about it in one of your papers last year. It’s so bad the UN office there issued an advisory to its employees. Underneath that beautiful facade, there’s some rot in Runda.

Not really. They prefer living there because a lot of embassies are there but it's mostly occupied by Africans.
