Where the River Goes: The Missouri

Every river carries a million stories. Last fall, filmmaker Hunter Weeks spent 24 hours on the Missouri River, and this short film is a snapshot of life in the Gates of the Mountains section on the Mighty Mo, told in the meandering and unpredictable style of moving water itself. I live in the biggest city that sits on the MO river. Kansas City. Crazy to see the Mountains that all that water recently passed through all the way up in Montana. KC has the best skyline on the river but Montana definitely has the best natural scenery.

Cool video I find it funny some of the names of the rivers in America don't even start in the states named after them for instance the Arkansas river begins in colorado the Missouri river begins in montana the Mississippi river begins in Minnesota out of lake Itasca sorry if that's spelled wrong. The Spokane river begins in Idaho it flows out of lake coeurd'alene.
