I lost my brother in September, I'm listening to this again. I now have my father and 2 brothers up there. I saw the look on my brother when he left us. He had his arms up, and he was smiling. I am 75 years old now and I know that I don't have very much longer to be here in this old world where the roses fade away. But I know that I have a home where they will never fade. I am looking forward to being there with this great Brandenberger family and listening to them sing praises to Jesus forever and forever more. My mom is 77 and has been a Christian since she was 19, born in a log cabin in 1947 in Eastern Kentucky she has had quite a life but has dementia now and doesn't have much time left but I find great comfort in knowing she is going to be with our heavenly father, to not be able to say that would be tragic but God bless you and know that you have hope in the next life through our Lord and savior's promises...

@brianflincher I was born In Eastern KY too. In a little hollow called Rock house in Pike County. I was 17 when we moved to Mansfield OH. When iwas23 I got saved and moved to Houston Tx in 1971 and have been here ever since then God Bless you and your family. I lost my 97 yr old mother back in May I am looking forward to seeing her again soon . God bless

@@PerryAdkins-vx4rp Sounds like we have a similar background, our family is basically Appalachian , we are all from Wolfe county, you find a lot of Christians in the area we came from as they call it the "bible belt" I got on fire for God when he saved me from dying of a horrible bout of Covid 2 years ago, I was already a born again Christian but moved even closer to God after the Covid outbreak, I was hoping a lot of people would get saved from the whole pandemic but anyways I just want to encourage you to keep the faith and know that you are not closer to the end you are closer to a new life with Christ in which there will be no more sorrows, pain and we will have a brand new body, take care sister and God bless you

I performed this song some years ago in a little ol' country church in Alabama. Was supposed to be finished but the pastor saw this one peaking out from my book. Asked me to do before I left. Had not played it for a while so...prayed real quick, Lord guide me thru this one. Glad it say that it came off pretty good. After the service a woman approached me and said that she had just lost her sister about a week ago and that this song was her sister's favorite. God knew. I was so happy that the Lord used me in this way. PTL.
