I think that Valdo is amazing to progress the betrayal board when you have Jun missions :) Gut instinct is like 3 times as fast as Intelligence gathering and test of loyalty can almost double the speed at which you can setup the board for a proper Catarina

If you're going to be doing heists yourself, one option is leaving 1-2 of the story heists undone (generally karst/vinderi/tullina/etc with better rewards, and no unique tied to them). If a chest doesn't give you a unique contract, then it will give you a story one if possible, so it's basically a free contract if you don't complete (only costing time, and ~400 markers).

Thanks for the info as always. I'm trying to stay optimistic, but everything about this league just feels like a significantly worse version of Ritual. I felt like the possibilities were endless last league, and to some extent they were. I understand and accept GGG's trend of nerfing first and then rebalancing, but I think they took away too much this time without giving enough back. Keep up the good work, dude.

I agree. I find myself struggling to keep playing this league already and I happily played for 2 months last league before I started to get bored. The league mechanic is really rippy and I've already had better drops from the 20ish rituals I've done compared to the 150ish ultimatums I've done. It's difficult for me to find a reason to get strong and put together a 200ex build when there is no content I want to use said build on anymore. Some of the nerfs were warranted, but I think they went way too far for some of them. I was a harvest cuck and I loved crafting my own gear. That excitement is gone now. Sadge

@@slim3710 They completely stripped it down to the bare minimum and it isn't nearly as useful as it was in Ritual League. People argued that it was too powerful and made broken gear for too cheap. It was powerful, but it wasn't cheap. Some gear took as many as 100-300ex to craft at the time. GGG did the thing they love doing and that's nerfing something 4-8 different ways to the point where it's almost useless or unusable. There were a lot of good ideas the community had to make it more balanced, but they just did it their way. It was fun to craft your own gear at least for me, but now you can just chaos spam like 3 times and influenced items can't interact with any of the good parts of harvest they kept. Sad change, but I know there was a community around hating harvest and they were happy at least.

I feel like people are underestimating the harbinger node a little bit. Not saying that it's as good as last league or anything. But I am seeing exalted shards drop from these kings with some regularity. Certainly far more often than from regular harbingers. And the thing that defined Diplomatic Escort last league was that it didn't scale. If you had at least one harbinger, it would trigger, and you automatically had at least one harbinger, so it always triggered. And it made little sense to make additional investments like Zana mods or scarabs, if you could just spam-open low tier maps and clear these giant packs. But now, this king encounter, it does scale to your investment. Not only does the chance to get a king get higher if there are multiple harbingers, but you can in fact get multiple kings in the same map. Admittedly I've only just started toying with it, but given the amount of exalted shards I'm seeing on average, I'm sure there is the potential for profit somewhere in there, depending on the price of harbinger scarabs. And I mean - if you have nothing else you want to do in the region anyway, you might as well at the very least increase the value of the harbinger scarabs you loot yourself by running them there and turning them into kings.

Best one for me so far has been breach farming white maps along with full finishing the ult trial and then selling other good farm able white maps in lira for 3-4c a piece since I'm dropping white maps in lira like flies.

people are sleeping on valdos TBH, metamorph is still a thing and with all 3 nodes + double harbi nodes youre ROLLING. with the double unique boss on canyon you get 2 unique samples to guarantee 2 itemized sample rolls. meaning, you get 6 itemized samples per map instead of just 1. which is insane, rolling for double currency organs + the ex shards from harbi means im just pumping out ex.

thanks for the vid and ideas to think about, but incase no one mentioned it ( and assuming ggg actualy put it in the game) a filled ritual vial is supposed to act as a ritual sextant as well (tho u cant get vessle splinter in that map) im preaty sure, so u can essence map device, ritual vial and w/e other scarabs on ur haewark hamlet maps and actualy get very consistent progress toward your deferals i suppose?

One thing worth noting about Diplomatic Escort is that the 30% chance to spawn a Harbinger boss is for each individual harbinger, so you can end up spawning multiple of them if you are juicing up the number of harbingers in the maps with zana mods and scarabs, although not sure that is really worth it still.

Last league GGG gave us two good things, atlas passives and profitable harvest. This league - Directed by Robert B Weide. Not sure how essences are deterministic crafting, since they change all other mods, huh?

The only way to force Ritual is using the Ritual Vessel's they give you Ritual's but not sure if it'd be worth it.

For Tirn's end i highly recommend getting the Invasion nodes aswell. They were decent last league and got buffed in this one. I constantly get multiple woke sextants from them and the occasional 6-link.

highest you possible can, is typically what I'd recomend, higher tier maps typically have more monsters, pack size, etc, and of course, the maps are more valuable

It is common in all videos (all youtubers do) to put the currency in time instead of currency in amount of maps. I think people make maps at different speeds, either because of their builds, or because of their abilities. I think it would be more accurate to take the measurement of currency / amount of times that we do the mechanics. Just my humble opinion. The normal user never makes the content as fast as the pro players, and it is frustrating after seeing that you are doing a lot less currency and thinking that it is because we are doing something wrong (speaking of the theoretical part) and it is simply the speed.

Used to be the scary gamble of the century back in Ritual cus you never know what people put in there lol. But this league isn't even so much as of what's in there since you're not gonna spam 4 per map at this price you only need 1 to force it.

Hey, you are kind of wrong with harbinger farming. You get some exalted shards and every harbinger kind brings a lot of mobs with it. Because of that i am not only sustaining red maps but also selling them. Overhaul i am making 3+ ex an hour without any lucky drops.

They removed fractured fossil and harvest, the most interesting and challenging things in the game revolved around them... ps. my character is not completed, as it won't be able to do simulacrums or 100% delirium content, but I see no point improving it for that content since there no fucking way I will be trading 5 orbs for every map run and loose currency doing so...
