I've got Rattay and Sassau almost done editing! We're going to do the same for KCD 2 but I also want to add another database for all the NPCs - civilians, shop owners, guards, etc. because some of them have loot that's even better than the chests!

As a data enjoyer and KCD veteran (700~ hours), this is peak content. Actual fucking peak. I'm the sort of person who rarely clicks like on videos. Maybe once a month. Sure as hell did on this one. Amazing job, sir. And thank you. I may not have the time to play again now (college is rough), but when I do, I'll certainly make use of your work. I remember years ago, I got the idea to try and compile every item in the game. I had no real plan though, and it seemed like enough of a stretch that I never actually got around to it. Well, now that I think about it... Ah, screw it. Imma subscribe too. You singlehandedly made me excited to play KCD again. Hats off.

Nice!! We've actually got several databases, one for each item category: Weapons, armor, skill books, treasure maps, etc. and we're linking all of them to the other databases where they can be found (merchants, loot, NPCs, etc.). We're basically using this as a practice run in preparation for KCD 2 early next year because we're going to do the same (or more) for that one when it comes out :D

Thanks! Yeah we're not really expecting any views from these right now, but it's a test run to get ready for KCD2. I've already improved my data collection process and added more stuff to track with the next game. I'll also be logging what each NPC has in their inventory because I found that many of them have valuable gear to steal.

Samopesh Bailiff wears a Decorated cuirass that is only found in a treasure chest, but not in Hardcore mode, so in hardcore he is the only place to find it. It can be stolen from his chest while he sleeps, or you can knock him out in daytime.

Yeah good point - I think for KCD 2 we'll also be tracking all NPC inventory and not just the chests because some people have amazing stuff on them.

It looks like you use a no lockpick minigame mod. Could you link which one you use, because cann't get the nexus one to work

I did all of these with the base game, by hand - no mods used. There was a bunch of editing though, so maybe it looks like that? Also, I have the master lockpick perk, which unlocks lower tier automatically.

Kind of an exploit but if you want to get better reputation with traders and you have easy access to their loot chests you can just buy everything you can afford from them and then haggle to give them as much money as possible, then just go and pick up the groschen from their chest.
