A well-chilled Pilsner is slowly becoming a luxury. Today, you will pay around 60 crowns for a pint in Prague restaurants. And it can be expected that next year the price may rise to CZK 70.
There is no need to despair just yet - in this part of our Live Prague series we have found 5 Prague establishments where you will pay around 50 crowns for a pint of your favorite bitter drink from Pilsen!
Stará Ořechovka
The Ořechovka residential district with its millionaire villas literally hides a piece of pub history. The Stará Ořechovka restaurant, where in addition to good beer you can enjoy traditional pickled sausages or ermines. And you will pay a beautiful 54 crowns for pilsner here!
Inn Drinopol
You have to go to Břevnov for the next business. The Drinopol Inn is located right next to the tram stop of the same name, which can come in handy when you leave, especially if you overdo it with your favorite drink. In addition to the pilsner for 51 crowns, you will surely be pleased that they cook excellently here and the portions are huge.
Restaurant Ladronka
Restaurant Ladronka is located in Košířy directly below the park, after which it is named. In this establishment, you can be sure that you will always get excellently treated beer and they will also offer you something good for your teeth at a pleasant price. After all, you can enjoy a pint of pilsner here for 48 crowns!
U Dandů restaurant
You can find another great business in Vinohrady, a short distance from Náměstí míru. There aren't many affordable restaurants left in this luxurious residential area, local pubs are all the more rare - for example, U Dandů, where you can find Czech classics and friendly service. You can get a large Pilsner here for 52 crowns.
Restaurant Na Pěšinách
A short distance from the Kobylisy metro stop, there is a restaurant where you will not only find Czech classics on the menu, but they also have one real specialty - long-aged Olmützer Quargel. But you have to ask about them directly from the operator. And the beer? You can get Pilsen here for 49 crowns.
