Hi Zaheer I don't know much about the Al Mabroor investment so can't give my thoughts there. With regards to an RAF I'm investing with Sanlam Echo bonus and it suits my needs. I think it's very important to get an RAF that will give you the best benefits when the time comes for you to retire (by best benefits I mean can it give a return to maintain your lifestyle?). You can research places like Old Mutual,Outvest,PSG,Allan Gray,Discovery,Momentum etc. With regards to a tax deduction it doesn't matter where you've invested SARS gives you a deduction of up to 27.5% of your taxable income (maximum R350 000 per year) Hope this answers your questions🙂

Hey Lerato welcome, so for shares you get returns when a company issues dividends this is normally paid yearly based on the companies performance. Fedgroup when you purchase a farming assets you receive an income for the lifespan of the asset,for example if you buy blue berries their life span is 8 years and you receive an income every time they are harvested and sold. ETFs and Unit trusts you receive an income when you liquidate that investment. Hope this helps

Compound interest in shares mainly occurs when you reinvest your earnings over time, basically holding a share over a long period and reinvesting your capital gains that's how you essentially get the compounding effect.
