So interesting , loved seeing how many calm colonies he has in his garden, He must have good neighbours as some people go ape just seeing a bee in their garden whether they are calm bees or not and they must see a few flying back and forth to his apiary.

I have one of your Buckfast F1 one my patio. I sit with them everyday sometimes for 30/40 mins with my face 18 inches away from the entrance. I'm always walking past them into their flight path, take the top of my hive ect. They never try to sting.

Very intresting Can you explain how he gets away with it in the middle of housing estate. What happens if they give grief to neighbors and who is responsible if they swarm to a neighbors chimney or house it will be interesting to know because I would love to put 2 hives in me garden Thank you

Unbelievable i thought I was overdoing 2 hives in my garden. Could spend to week talking with Carl. Amazingly calm bees. Does Carl sell any of his F1 queens?

Yes he sells them. I picked up a new queen from him on Thursday. Carl's a very interesting guy and, yes, you could easily spend a week talking with him. Search for Yorkshire Buckfast Bees.

I have 2 hives in the garden, my car is constantly covered propolis (nightmare) occasionally poo at least that's easier to get off, luckily wShing is under a shelter and the bees fly up and over it

@BlackMountainHoney haha I was trying my best to become a youtuber at that point but also create a quality video. In all honesty it took the fun out of my fishing and was alot of effort so stopped with the videos but it's something my boys can watch back and enjoy when I'm gone.

Amazon or Thorne Bee Supplies. They come in two spacer sizes so make sure before buying what distance you want between frames.

hello i am from, greece ,the local bees is the cecropia (angry bee ) and the macedonian (more calm), we also use all races like carciolian buckfast etc, what is the f1,f2,f3 buckfast?
