Where to place the object in German | Dativ & Akkusativ Objects

Are you not sure where exactly an object is placed in a German sentence? First the accusative object and then the dative object? Or is it the other way around? The preposition “in” gives you here the case since the noun after the preposition belongs to it. Movement = Akkusativ (gehen) No-movement = Dativ (treffen)
