I stayed at the Atlantic Palace Hotel in 1977 - great place, and very much cheaper back then. We brought a water boiler for thea and coffee from home - and blew the fuses in the entire hotel.

The place is packed. With Brits:(. There is even Fish ‘n Chips and pubs specifically targeted to them. And the ferries dump loads of Americans almost every day.
