Great Bahamian ideas. A very accurate description of the islands. I would strongly suggest one change: Christopher Columbus was the first European who landed in the Bahamas. It is now well documented that most islands in the Bahamas archipelago were already inhabited. The Lucayans were some of the first natives to greet him in the archipelago.
