That was on another level. To have the Grandson of Jaguar, restoring the families (XKE) heritage. I need to get one soon, before i have to use all my funds. I have a poor mans E-type, The XJS class coll V12. More vid's on actual rebuilding of components. Cheers, from Chicago.

I owned a '69 series II coupe and did a sympathetic refurbishment on it at 44,000 miles. Just an incredible amount of hand work involved, such as replacement panels from each car are completely different and must be re-fabricated to work. Now working on a 1965 Mark X. One of 2 produced with black with black interior.

Hello is William Haynes a relation to the William Haynes who developed a number of things for jaguar back in the 1960s

I am normally very dubious about anything someone in this position says to me ! However, this young Man exudes sincerity, knowledge and a desire to make the best even better! If I could afford to buy/ run my dream Jaguar ( Series 2 E type convertible in red with black mohair hood ). I would definitely be able to leave it with this Man, secure in the knowledge that my vehicle would be Cherished and maintained to the highest standard 🙂
