These men even played "colf" which is golfing and was named after the back end of a musket which is a kolf or colf in old dutch, Either the captain or the main ship was named Zembla and he has done this 3 times, but got blocked by ice everytime and had to return before he got stuck, only the last time he decied to push on and got stuck with the crew. He died on the way back to the mainland when the ice melted, but most of his crew made it out alive.
