Much love to you Kiwis and PTNZ from an American Army Veteran, there aren't many of these types of organizations for our coalition brothers and sisters outside the US, so what you're doing is immensely important, I hope this does a great deal in helping those transitioning and coping with the "invisible war". Cheers.

Much respect to this man Willie Apiata VC. When we speak of transition to civi street, for this man its a monumental undertaking. Willie was not just a regular soldier. He spent the majority of his adulthood in the forces (20+ years) and maybe half of that as an elite tier 1 SF operator. Trained, seen and conducted things most people wouldnt even begin to comprehend and for multiple years. So just consider this please whanau and support the bro. Arohanui brother Willie 🤙

Totally agree. There is so much given by a few that is unknown by the many and the journey of carrying the burden of what these brave men and woman have seen stays with them for the rest of their life........so we can go on to live the life so many take for granted!!! My heartfelt thanks goes out to Willie, his brothers in arms and all who served for our freedom.

The only time where the public think about the armed forces is when there is contact, especially if there is footage of it. When young people sign up, and when they leave the service, nobody but family hears nor cares about it. Good luck. Willie has that calm but powerful voice that can get the message across.

This is great, My father served for about 25+ years and was in Vietnam and like many other men, he definitely struggled at times when he left the army, we can't imagine how difficult it is to transition into civilian life. Thank you for your service!!Arohanui 🙏🙏

"When you're in you're a guest, when you're out you're a pest" Every military in the world needs to do a better job at helping servicemen and women to transition back to civilian life.
