Love that you try to hold onto those fab pieces . I worked for “ country road clothing “ here in Australia, and kept a lot of beautiful pieces from 20 years ago . Here they are all coming back round in fashion and I’m wearing them again . Great to see the young gen trying to avoid fast fashion if possible. You are really spreading that mantra. I’ve been a “summer black” person, all of my adult life, until I went to Portugal last June. The mosquitoes and flies went after me the most, when I wore black. During the day, you become shade. This was never a problem, but it was my 1st time in Portugal. I love the Chanel bronzer! I wear that, sometimes a little under eye concealer, and powder for my oily face. I might be a pinch darker than you, and it still nice. They really need 2 more darker shades. I’ll need another raffia hat when I return to Portugal, next year. They’re cute and inexpensive there, and you really need a hat, especially in the southern areas. I’m glad you mostly had a good time! 🥂

Yes, I grew up in Panama Republic of Panama drinking fresh coconut water with the soft fruit flesh. We do have the star fruit as well, loved the Villa.

Oh my, the creative me came out the second I saw the brim 'floppin' on that awesome straw hat (that I love the look on you!). Fix it: Buy a round upholstery needle and some awesome raffia straw. Hand stitch the brim onto the hat in a rough crisscross stitch. Wouldn't that look awesome with the choice of a darker raffia fiber? Another quick thought: Before hand-sewing on the brim, just run a bit of permanent glue on the raw edge of the hat bowl--the brim will remain more secure. A well used hat is much more fun to wear than something 'too new'. Think of that. ~ L

I'm an "love" the chanel dad sandals, looked at them in silver but didn't pull the trigger on time. Also love the black dress with from Zara, all cotton I think, with the cut-outs on the bottom. If you've linked it I would like one now. Not many summer dresses I like but that one is so cute. Hi, Karen all the outfits looks great! The green bikini top with the white wide leg pants looks good. The off the shoulder dress looks very summery and dainty and good for the weather. When i was a young girl, back in the day my aunt wore makeup that looked cakey or to reddish like a brick, and when she start to sweat it would streak and you would see the color of her skin and the reddish make-up. From that day I never wanted to wear make-up, back then they didn't have makeup for women of color. Even though they have evolved I still don't wear it. But seeing you put on that Estee Lauder double wear sheer I might change my mind, because you look like you had nothing on and it enhance your appearance but didn't change the way you looked. You are beautiful and have nice skin. Family comes first don't worry or apologize for not vlogging it's your prerogative and we understand so happy you and hubby had a good time. 🏖️

Exactly! Fast fashion is fast if you're trashing it regularly. I hold on to all of my clothes for 15+ years. Not everyone can afford a wardrobe without "fast fashion". Thifting is a cheat code though....
