This was wild, the transition between 'Is this the most depressing episode of gayotic that has ever been recorded?' to the better help ad was gold! Also love that Katie rated hot cakes before waffles despite not knowing what a hot cake is and having never had one.

love to know that the new tradition of muna solo eps is pretty sensible and followable first 3/4, followed by an absolute meltdown into chaos in the last 1/4 😂

Naomi, Katie, Jo - you guys are at the age to intellectualize on synchronicity but it's not time to fully feel or understand. That will occur in your seventies. Read Jung and the Ages of Humans...in your later years, you will feel synchronicities, and you will be ready. I'm there now and fully in it. As a Night Spinner, I get as fully engaged as I can. Learn, think. live your younger self's life through "commerce" and work now (which you are generously doing as MUNA: The Greatest Band/Podcasters in the World" Your mission is real and full of love. Love you each and all.

Love what Naomi said about myths being what is "always happening." I would highly recommend reading "The Disobedience of the Daughter of the Sun" by Martín Prechtel.

Wondering if we could get some being gay in America advice? I just came out at 37. I don't drink. I live in the Midwest. I look probably 10 years younger than I am and probably too straight for my own good. These things really don't help me. I am working hard to do my big gay research and find ways to connect with other queers in my area, but honestly have no idea how to be gay in America. Especially at nearly 40. How and where am I supposed to go to meet potential wifeys? Do y'all have any secret, special advice? How would you do it? Helpp. I am going to G Flip in less than 20 days. I am hoping for some mature women energy happening. I need a mature woman

About 29:35 - this is quite heavy but a few years ago I visited the holocaust memorial museum in Berlin (an incredible museum) and there were all these photos of N*zi officials on the walls- these were the guys who _orchestrated_ the holocaust, officials in charge of camps and propaganda and so on. And I was struck by how normal they looked in these photos. Just people, with glasses, favorite colors, families, pets. It was so bizarre to know that these were the people capable of such monstrous acts. As justified as it feels to degrade n*zis and other horrible groups to sub-human trash (and it is, in many ways, completely justifiable, of course), by separating them from humans you forget that they were, in fact humans, not mythical monsters, and yet still capable of such harm. We have to remember so we don't repeat the cycle, so we don't think ourselves somehow above the effects of bigotry and propaganda. Anyways! I know that's basically Naomi's point here I just wanted to share a moment where it really resonated with me.

Yeah it’s kinda interesting how they are so educated about g side in Gaza but still don’t know that one of their sponsors is a company that gave settlers whom are living soldiers in the idf free therapy while butchering babies in Gaza not to mention one of the released hostages were so sad they did not grape her so she got devastated and had to get therapy to post her confidence, and u can absolutely fact check me I wish I’m making that up , plus u know who do not get therapy babies and kids before getting their limbs amputated without anaesthesia which 3 from 5 kids there at least got one or more missing limbs due to the bombs ppl from USA are blindly sending and are so tired to speak out and don’t want to be a hero as if standing to basic shit is heroic 😮

I can’t continue to justify being the Muna fan friend, while listening to you all sit there with massive platforms and regurgitate all these same boring defeatist ideals that I’m seeing mirrored in the worst of the ‘left’ (see terfs swerfs etc) that have disappointed me while I’m out there wearing your merch blockading ships that are shipping weapons with my own body getting shot with rubber bullets, one in my ovaries that has caused me to have months long, internal injuries, and then while recovering in bed listening to Jo say that they “can’t even watch that stuff” referring to Palestinian people just trying to share their stories and what’s going on!?!? I felt this a bit listening to you interview Julian Baker and hearing all that same rhetoric it’s just ‘too hard’ it’s just ‘too difficult’ ??? Just do something!! If this really isn’t the world that you want, how could you justify validating people not doing anything? partnering with better help is fucked as well considering all of the shit that’s come out about them in the last few years and how terrible all of their business practices were and then partnering with a vitamin/supplement company in a very USA-y medical advertising way promoting it as the solution to peoples problems is really giving weirdo BS. It’s incredibly dangerous to overload yourself with vitamins that you aren’t actually deficient in if they can’t be discarded by your body and recommending that your fans, especially knowing there’s young ones who are still developing, see AG1 as a miracle cure is actively causing harm. I know Jo will say “what do you expect us to do? we have to make money” but you are harming our community and you are encouraging people who could be staunch comrades to be defeated instead of encouraging them to fight for the world that we want to create. I’m gonna continue to fight. I’m just choosing to put my attention somewhere that serves me and the world I want better. I am an environmental scientist, we do not have the time to be complacent. Im angry but I mean this with the intention of calling you all in. I hope you do better.
