why would you consider chongyun a support but xiangling a sub dps? you should use her

I don’t get that either but I do get why he opted to not use Xiangling. As opposed to characters like Noelle, Rosaria and Sucrose where damage is part of what they do but not all they do, Xiangling is 99% damage. Her only ‘support’ comes from the chili Guoba spawns after he despawns, and that’s too minuscule for her to be called a support. Shields are an obvious support thing, ergo why Xinyan is considered a support for this series but not Xiangling. Bennett outclasses her attack buffs anyway

Isnt Xiangling a support? Like she is used in SO MANY teams as a support, so I dont understand the reasoning. Also Xinyan ISNT a support, since she was supposed to be played as a main dps. I might didnt saw the first ep or sm, but can you just explain these reasons?

Xiangling is considered as a sub-dps. Furthermore, in teams like Raiden National she actually does like 40% of the team damage because Raiden and Xingqiu apply Electro-charged on the enemy, which means they are both afflicted by electro and hydro at the same time. If then Xianglings burst hits the enemy she triggers both overload AND reverse Vape, doing waaayy more damage So, to conclude, no she is not a support

@@charm_olypishe may be more suited for it but another major build for her is as a shielder so she does count. Same reason Noelle is considered a support (alongside party-wide healing iirc) and not a dps. I don’t get why he calls Chongyun a support though, he’s pretty obviously a sub-dps, he’s not even that good of a battery like Rosaria is

Idk if you've figured it out yet but u for Xianlings domain u could try placing a construct down with geo Mc then try light it with Xinyan also rip abt the Alhatiam

you could try to drag an enemy there and then when u get sucrose do her burst in hopes of swirling the pyro off of the enemy and it going down that hole. i think its the only way, esp since you dont have kazuha

Nope, only arguably at C6 but even then not that much, she’s less of a support than Xinyan is.
