Leeches are used to treat all kinds of circulatory/ cardiovascular disorders. The point she was trying to make, was that certain treatments will be looked down upon for years (such as treatment using leeches) and then all of sudden you'll hear that it's widely accepted by doctors/scientists. It does go in cycles like this too, in years to come I'm sure the practice of using leeches for these treatments will be scrapped again...Sort of on the same topic, did you know that some surgeons have switched to using obsidian (volcanic rock) scalpels instead of steel ones because they're actually sharper? This obsidian material was used in the same way by the Aztecs hundreds of years ago. .

Cody Green no man. Leeches are not supported by doctors today. Maybe hippie doctors but I’m sure u ask any dr at any hospital and they’ll tell u how u shouldn’t use leeches to cure ur illnesses.
