He's still going to become an engineer but when he comes home on break, it will be like he's going camping. Lol. For me, it is just a flat out rejection of the way this world works. It's like they have THEIR blueprint for MY life. Well THEY can kiss MY ass. I'll do what I want to do, and I'll have my labor benefit me and my son, not the property management company or the bankers or tax man or anyone else. It's my life and when it's time to die, I'll be the one doing it, so I'm gonna decide how it's lived.

I played this song for my son who turns 25 soon. It explained why I lived as a gypsy on my cycle for the first twenty years of my adult life. Today, with all the background checks, HR interviews, and drug tests, required just to wash windows or serve food, bag groceries, or shovel dirt, or w/e work I took (in over 500 different locations across the lower 48 states) you couldn't even live as I did then. I mostly worked for gas stations. Those don't even exist anymore. My son got it, but then asked what I was looking for with all my traveling around. I told him, "Nothing, just a new horizon." He told me he will never understand my generation.

I have a headache right now and for some reason, listening to this song helps a lot. Any loud rock really, it’s always been that way for me. For most people, loud music makes it worse...not for meh tho. I love heavy rock so meh not disappointed
