I just bought the base sport all-wheel-drive version in eternal blue. There’s a ton of wonderful options even at this level in it, just fine for me, I don’t tend to buy cars with lots of options because less things tend to go wrong. Besides, Mazda does a great job of giving you lots for a reasonable price. I only paid 27,300, it’s a great car, beautiful looking, rides seamlessly, and very nicely appointed on the inside, and the new ten inch screen on the dash is crisp and clear. I traded in my 2017 outback, and that was a great car. I’m not crazy about CVT, and Mazda thankfully still has automatic transmission. That was a big plus for me when considering which car to buy .

Mazda has weird trim approach. Basic or middle trim may have many advanced options but missing very basic like….heated side mirrors. And you have hard time when raining and it foggy. Only GT and up has heated mirrors. Once, side mirror closed- all position settings will be gone. Also, check if your dashboard cluster display had digital or still analog speedometer. Rear legroom space very limited. Windows open/close push buttons positioned in the way that by accident your finger always push rear window when you want open yours. The handrest between front seats is small and shifted backward. I just got Carbon Edition, it’s nice car but whoever designed- put most parts in the wrong places. And if you about 6 feet tall it will be a bit small

Only problem with Mazda is the depreciation which is mainly due to the company selling so many as fleet vehicles to the car rental companies. Because of the buyback agreement manufacturers buyback older models from the car rental companies thereby allowing them to buy new models. Auto manufacturers then sell the older models to auto auction companies who flood the used car market which deprecates your resale value by thousands of dollars.
@SportMazdaNorth3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for reaching out, Noah. While there's always room for improvement, Mazda's actually score pretty well in resale value. Here's an in-depth analysis from caredge that breaks it down by model: caredge.com/mazda/depreciation. Mazda's has also made a big push toward becoming a premium brand. They're producing cars that provide a premium driving experience for a fraction of the price and they hold their value far better than most of the established luxury brands. Just my two cents :) Thanks again for your input!

Great review. I ended up with the 2021 touring with AWD and added the preferred SV Package which adds auto dimming rear view mirror with home link, Bose sound system, moonroof, power tailgate, leather-trimmed seats and 8 way power drivers seat with power lumbar and 2 position memory. The package is just under $1500.00 which I feel is a good deal. Regarding the turbo option, please don’t take this wrong, but if I want to go fast I’ll buy a Mustang GT (With a manual transmission) etc. as a fast SUV just doesn’t make sense, imho. The standard engine is just fine. Oh, I usually use Apple Maps (apple car play) but I did find the Mazda Navigation SD card on eBay for around 80 bucks. Just slip into the card slot and you have Mazda Navigation which works fantastic. Just make sure you have the correct version. Mazda wants around 400 bucks for the card….no way would I pay that much.
@SportMazdaNorth2 жыл бұрын
Congratulations, Jerry! The SV package is a lot of value for sure. Glad you found the right fit for you. And yes, the navigation can be had for cheaper, you just have to be careful, because once those cards are used in a vehicle, they are locked to that vehicle and can't be used elsewhere. So, you run the risk of getting a bad card when buying 3rd part like that. Sounds like that wasn't the case for you though. Enjoy the ride!

@SportMazdaNorth3 жыл бұрын
Hi Melvin! Thanks for reaching out. So, the age of the card isn't really the issue. The cards are the same and can be updated with the latest maps online. The issue with buying one from Amazon or eBay is that you may get one that's already "burned" to a specific vehicle. Once you install the SD card and drive the vehicle for 60 miles, that card is set to that specific car and won't work on anything else. So, if you choose to buy elsewhere, just be sure to probe them about whether it's truly a new car. Hope that clears things up for you!

Looks like you missed it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZ7HqYuPpJl3iMk. That's all covered in the Grand Touring. And yes, there is a Touring SV trim, but that was beyond the scope of this video. Thanks for the input.

None, the seats have no thigh support and you can’t see around the A pillar. The driving position is flawed!

Come on Mazda!!! You have to go to KZbin to find out how many trims of 1 model you have??? It is so freaking confusing just make 3 models and call it a day! You scaring people away 🤦🏻♂️
