The meta in PGR isn't flexible at all (may be different for WuWa), but of course you can use whoever you want if you don't care about performance. @@WadeWontson its also embarrassing to see you trying to act like a genius in a game you probably never touched. fyi, i still use og no21 tank as a dps and im clearing warzone with no issues. ive seen people use lucia, the first construct you get TO THIS DAY as a lvl 120 player. i meant skill issue not as an crappy excuse, but as a legitimate reason as pgr is still a skill based game that you can clear solely off mechanics alone. if you think im whiteknighting thats on you, but ive no reason to listen to your baseless accusations in which you have no prior knowledge about. furthermore, i acknowledge powercreep exists, but as my original comment states, you should not care about the meta too much, especially since its wuwas first release and theres no powercreep. in about a year from now, things will be different, but as of now, literally any character can be a dps. if you wish to get a meta character, go for it, but if you like a certain character's playstyle, you shouldnt care about the meta

very helpful video, i like that you emphasize the beta status of things and also mainly choosing for fun playstyle. Kuro games meta seems flexible enough so I'm not worried, plus they're standard so you'll get most of them with even some copies over time. (Granted I JUST got my last Standard in another gacha I was playing for almost 2 years, but yeah lol) I'm usually a waifu collector but my boy Kakarot is so damn cool... It's gonna be tough!

This is KURO games, if I can beat end game bosses as a B-rank Tank character (Nanami) in their previous game Punishing Gray Raven on Hell mode, THAT alone should speak volumes. Kuro builds their games with player SKILL in mind power creep is pretty rare with them honestly its Utility they tend to focus mostly on with a few exceptions due to advances in mechanical functionality. Excluding four characters that are just OP Alpha Weave, Tank Watanabi, Void Luna, and the new ice queen, the relative difference is negligible. A maxed Rozen vs Capriccio is close.

As a longtime and enduring Beidou main from Genshin, Jianxin's counter honestly looks so good. As a Wuxia fan from young, the entire martial arts style she has also makes her doubly appealing. If I don't get her from the novice banner then I will probably get her from standard, oh and Calcharo looks nice. We love Vergil in this house

My point is Play the character that makes YOU happiest because any game created by Kuro comes down to Player Skill, this isn't Hoyoverse you don't NEED to shell out your left kidney to C/E rank character to make them viable. Also Kuro IS F2p Friendly again unlike Hoyoverse, so we may get a free 5* selector in the future or some F2p method to acquire or unlock 5* characters , because they Do believe in FUN unlike BUNGIE.

If this is anything like PGR, characters will be powercrept cause thats what gacha games are about BUT they will be meta for a pretty long time. For those that dont know PGR, characters used to stay on meta like for 1.5 to 2 years. Thats a lot of time on the meta for a gacha game. PGR is known for both the amazing, frenetic and fluid gameplay and its friendly gacha. I hope this will be similar on WuWa.

Calcharo reminds me too much of Diluc from Genshin. Both have 3-hit skill and both buff their normal attack upon using their ultimate. Diluc was also the best dps character but got powercrept hard. It's easy to say that Calcharo will be treated the same way. I still pulled for him though (I love edgy-looking characters).

I love simple-minded characters that use their fists to beat the sh*t out of their opponents and I love speed and pure strength and cool moves that remind me of my childhood watching Jackie Chan movies. Yup. Lingyang is perfect for me. Plus the reason why I got attracted to this game is when I first saw him. I would've never changed my decision on maining him, but knowing all of this about him just made me even more excited! Can't wait for this game and my boi! edit: I want Jianxin, too! She's so cool!
