Hi, welcome to Speak Japanese Naturally.
I'm Fumi.
Were you able to tell which pitch accent was correct for わたしは?
The answer is ②, Low-High-High-High
I've heard many people say otherwise, so be careful!

Ive never really noticed but for me the 2nd just sounds way more natural. I am curious though what an accent would sound like in japanese. As an english speaker in america i find it very clear when someone has an accent, but i dont know what accents sound like in japanese because ive never lived there and am still learning japanese. What do us americans sound like to the japanese? And id be curious if you also find an accent attractive like we do with the English language.

It seems like you can just listen to the language enough and your pitch accent will flow naturally as you mimic what you’ve heard thousands of times

Hmm. I think I can distinguish it if its a lone word. #1 has a bit of pause but #2 tashiwa (たしわ) there is no a pause there. But that's just how I heard

I already know it's 2. When I saw the thumbnail for the short, I thought to myself, "Wait. I thought "watashi" was a heiban." And then, I saw the 1 on the image and the title 😂
